The classroom buzzed with chatter. Boys at the back joked loudly while groups of girls tried to get to know each other. Jeongyeon scanned the room until she spotted Nayeon. Gotcha!

She walked over, and Nayeon immediately asked about what had happened earlier. Jeongyeon lied, brushing it off, not wanting Nayeon to worry.

By now, Nayeon had already made friends around the classroom. She even convinced a quiet Japanese student named Mina to sit beside her.

Was it because she can't speak Korean well? But this is a Korean-language class... Jeongyeon frowned, but decided to let it go.

The lesson began, and the room grew quiet. Yet Jeongyeon couldn't shake a strange feeling.

Someone's watching me.

She resisted the urge to turn around and instead focused on her notes. The class ended quicker than expected, a smooth contrast to the messy morning.

Since there was still time left, Nayeon decided to hang out with her new friend, Park Jihyo. She invited Jeongyeon along, but Jeongyeon declined—she needed to unpack and meet her roommate. Nayeon let her go.

At the dorm lobby, Jeongyeon picked up her room key. The number read: 230.

230? looks familiar, hmmm
I remembered I saw this number somewhere.

Students passed by here and there, and from a distance, she spotted a familiar face. Mina.

"Hi Mina! Do you live here too?" Jeongyeon asked, her voice brighter than usual.

"Yes," Mina answered shortly.

"What is your room number?" Jeongyeon asked again.

"Umm..., 231," said Mina.

"Really? What a coincidence! Mine's 230!" Jeongyeon said with surprise.

Mina gave a small but genuine smile at Jeongyeon's reaction. She wasn't good at making friends, but Nayeon could befriend her because Nayeon approached her first. In fact, she felt relieved too—having Jeongyeon as her neighbor eased her nerves.

"I'll show you to your room," Mina offered, and Jeongyeon gladly accepted.

They reached 230 quickly. Jeongyeon thanked Mina for her kindness, and they parted ways to their respective rooms.

Inside, Jeongyeon's eyes immediately caught a pair of shoes neatly placed near the entrance. Something about them looked familiar.

Wait... I've seen these before.

Curiosity made her move faster. She dragged her luggage in, took off her shoes, and glanced toward the upper bunk.

There, a girl sat scrolling on her phone.

A silhouette Jeongyeon had definitely seen before.

Who is it?
