people think that they can experience all the world's phenomena
but even when they do, they don't believe
yet they say that they will only believe if they see it
ridiculous, isn't it
but this is what we use to build the world with
this, that we can see
tactile things
this, we use to organise and build and create
this, we claim is logic
in a way, it is logic - logic of the tactile
but is it the logic of the universe? logic of the mind? logic of the unseeable?
i think not
the world is as it is
we are the ones who define the categories, draw the boundaries
it's like water
you can place dividers in the water, put boxes, add decorations, dissolve solutes
but if you remove all of that, it's still water
but the water is too complicated for us to understand
we need those dividers, boxes, decorations, solutes, to understand
yet even as we understand it with what we do to it, there are limitations
but aren't there limitations to everything?
we go deeper
we discover that water, an inanimate thing, one we claim to be void of life, seem to have feelings
they can respond to the environment, not just as the processes such as evaporation, freezing, condensation, just to name a few, but more
within our boundaries of this micro world we see, yet another set of dividers crop up so that we can attempt to comprehend the miraculous wonders of this world.
maybe water isn't such a good analogy, but what else is more fluid yet still can be touched than water?
