I flap my wings, once, twice
I feel their fragility, paper-thin
A gust of wind sweeps past
As I traverse across the wondrous world
Then suddenly my paper-thin wings
Abandon me, leaving me
To surrender my paper thin body to the winds
And I watch as my body sweeps back and forth towards the ground.
As my eventual demise approaches,
My sole regret is that
I have been unable
To give my paper-thin wings
To they who wish to see the world.
