I meet eyes with him, and so to speak it's....
Intense.
He bows his read in a respectful manner and so do I..
I double check though, I look around me just to make sure.
How could such a beautiful human be looking... at me ?
I look back up again "breathe Tia" and he's still staring at me but ...he looks angry

What did I do now ?

"He's had his eyes on you since you're arrival, however I suspect his gaze is directed towards me more than you"

I glance up and notice Dr Amadeer meeting his stare just as fiercely...

"Do y-you know him ?"

"Unfortunately I do"

"Oh, I'm s-sor—"

"Don't apologise, it's only natural. He's an old acquaintance of mine"

"Oh, he's very.... intense ?"

All of a sudden Leo turns to me, his eyes boring into me...

"Do you like him ?"

"Wait...What !? N-no, I don't even know him"

"Good. Do you like me then ?"

"Well I-,"

" So I assume that's a no ?"

I've never been so flustered before, I can feel the heat rising in my cheeks, I hear a small chuckle come from Leo.

"Relax Tia, it's okay"
He winks at me, and every bit of me melts. Every bit.

"I, Well -, I'm j-just going to use the bathroom, e-excuse me"

"Excuse me sir, a call for you"

A call from the one and only, I look up staring straight into his eyes..

Phoenix:  "Leo"

Leo: "Phoenix"

Phoenix: " Its been years"

Leo: " I don't suppose this is a chat about old memories"

Phoenix: "No. I want to schedule a meeting. It's time we talk"

Leo: "I don't think we could sit in a room for an hour without ripping each others heads off"

Phoenix: "Very true, but these are dire consequences"

Leo: " What information could you possibly have that I would want to listen to ?"

Phoenix: "Trust me"

Leo: "There was a day when I believed those two words actually meant something"

Phoenix: "Leave the past in the past Leo"

Leo: "Exactly. And that's where I left you"

Phoenix: "Leo this is important"

Leo: "I'm done, now if you would excuse me"

"Leo ? Are you okay ?"

"Ah yes, I'm fine. Would you care to join me ?"

"Okay"

It's unusual for Phoenix to want to talk and discuss serious matters. Our friendship ended years ago.

However as I turn to glance at him, I catch him, a rare moment, in which he is staring, not at me but at someone... And I know exactly who.

Purity and innocence in her eyes, such power she holds yet she doesn't even know it herself.

"You'll be the death of me Miss Rose"

"Death ? Me ?"
I look around just to make sure, clearly confused.

I can't help but sense tension, I'm not sure why. But the tension fades away as he grabs my hand and pulls me in his direction, but I also sense something else, someone else.

I turn around and look up. His eyes boring straight into mine...
