Later that evening...

"Come on, Alex!" Corbyn yelled from downstairs. "Jonah is walking over here!"

I slid down the railing of the stairs in a black and white striped jumpsuit. And heels. Eh, not really my thing, but anything for Jonah.

"Oh my god." Corbyn whipped out his phone and proceeded to take a picture of me. "Here you'll see an extinct animal, Alex King in heels and a nice garment, a rare species," he said in a funny voice.

I laughed as Daniel opened the door. Jonah walked in in a tux. I smiled at him and eyed him up and down. He did the same.

"You looked very dashing," I said.

"You......you look absolutely gorgeous," he replied, a rosy color spreading on his cheeks. Zach 2.0.

"Alright that's enough," Corbyn interrupted. "Off you go."

I never in my life thought I would be here. Living my best life. Dating the man I love, an amazing human being. Playing baseball and winning, even though I'm a girl.

I held Jonah's hand in the car. "Hey, Jobear?" He raised his eyebrows.

"I think you're in my league."
