We tend to love in the best way we could. But we always fail as a lover.
We are imperfect. The truth is we cannot give the our everything to love. We can't be a perfect lover.
But there is a lover who can. There is one who can love you in a way you wanted to be loved.
Pure, unconditional, unchanging, eternal...
He is GOD. The ALMIGHTY GOD.
He knows you and he loves you, just the way you are.
He wants to be intimate with you. He wants you to experience his love.
His basic nature is love. He is love.
...for God is love (1 John 4:8)
But God is holy.
Because it is written, Be ye holy; for I am holy. (1 Peter 1: 16)
He is Love and he is Holy.
Inasmuch as He wants to be closely related to you, he cannot just get close to you.
Something is blocking His attempt to having relationship with Him....
