The Holy God loves you a sinner.
But God commended his love towards us, and while we were yet sinners Christ died for us. (Romans 5:8)
He does not want to be separated from you now and forever.
He wants to have relationship with you while you are alive.. and until you physically die... He wants you to have eternal life with Him in heaven.
... to have and to hold.
So He gave you this gift.
For the wages of sin is death, But the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. (Romans 6:23)
The Holy God wants to give you a gift of eternal life. And that gift can be obtain through his only Begotten Son - JESUS CHRIST.
For God so loved the world that He gave is only BEGOTTEN SON, that whosoever BELIEVES him, should not perish but have and everlasting life. (John 3:16)
