I was sitting in bed writing a letter to one of my friends because that's something i do cuz I'm weird I hear some noises downstairs lifting my head up and fixing my baseball cap slightly I look to my door hearing noises that sound like  3 college students on spring break, the girls went out drinking again, I've never been one for getting drunk with people, I prefer to lock myself in my room and get blackout drunk on moonshine then actually have to talk to any of the other states or provinces but five minutes later my door opens with a drunk California on the other side "hey Al-Alaba-maa" she said heavily slurring my name "California are you drunk again" I say unamused at her intoxication "no I'm not" she slurs smile on her face. I sit up as she starts staggering over to me. she sits on the end of my bed throwing her arms around me tackling me down pining me against the bed "i'm not drunk" she heavily slurs you could smell the alcohol on her "yeah you're drunk, go to your own room Cali" I say "I love you Alabama" California says "sober me is dumb and she didn't tell you that she loves you and now drunk me is telling you that I love you" I was shocked by these words "Cali, you love me?" I say lowly "yes I do-" she cuts herself off "let me prove it" she grabs my face slightly squishing so my lips stick out a little bit more she connects our lips swiftly I let out a squeak of surprise as she deepens the kiss, I wrap my arms around her neck deepening more. after what felt like seconds but was actually minutes we pull away Breathless after catching her breath,  "I Love You" I say panting "I love you too" she said getting off me and laying next to me holding me close to her chest
*Next morning*
California's POV
'Oh God my head' is my first thought and then confusion this is not my room. Did I have a one-night stand recognize the room as Alabama's room oh no oh god what happened I blink in confusion holding my head I feel someone next to me I look down and low and behold it's Alabama she had a little bit of my red lipstick smeared on her lips her shirt was slightly lifted up showing her stomach and her baseball cap was on the floor now I remember I came in here drunk kissed Alabama and then passed out.. And told her I love her I take a moment to admire her beauty before she starts waking up "what "the she says coming to her senses "hey Ally" I say her cheeks go Scarlet Red "I thought that was a dream" I hear her whisper "do you dream about me often?" I say smugly "well um sometimes" Alabama says blushing looking down, "are we going to ignore this ever happened " I cut her off by putting my hand on her cheek lifting face up to meet my eyes I close the gap between us giving her a quick kiss " why would I ignore kissing the love of my life" I saw her face turn crimson she laid her head on my chest "your a dork" she mumbles "you're adorkable" I respond
