The parents feels regrets.
Diana was lying in the den, with her husband in a corner; crying her eyes out.
"Oh how could I say such terrible things to my little babies? It wasn't their fault, what did they do to deserve such terrible words?" she sobbed.
"Oh darling, I wish I could share your pain," said Burnt-Ebony sadly. "but only a mother can feel this pain."

"If only we could reverse the hands of time, Kovu doesn't deserve this!" said Vitani to herself. She was sitting in a cave close to the western border. Barely any animals went there so it was perfect for Vitani to drown in her remorse.Marisa feels agony
"That little witch! When I get my claws on her I'll murder her!" growled Marisa in agonizing pain.
"No one does this to my brother and lives."
She was at the southern border, scratching her sixth tree to shreds. The pain she felt however, was nothing
compared to what Kovu was feeling at this very moment.Kovu feels all three
"You monster, you idiot, you sadistic, egoistic little family breaking fool!"
Kovu was sitting by the edge of the Pride Lands by himself. He specifically asked his sisters to leave him alone to vent in total serenity.
He stared at his reflection in a puddle and sobbed.
"If Simba and Nala finds out about this, I'll never even see my cub. They'll banish me for good and Kiara will die of a broken heart; curse you Cindy!" he yelled in between hiccups. Fortunately no one was around to share his pain. He looked into the distance and saw the outlands as desolate and lonely as he left it.
His head started to pound as all his emotions came rushing back.
He regretted that he ever even knew Cindy. He regretted their relationship, their bond, her existence and Priscilla being born. It might sound heartless but Kovu couldn't care less. The remorse he had in his soul for Kiara was heartbreaking.
The agonizing pain that had embedded itself into his heart was eating him alive. He closed his eyes and pictured what his cub would be like. The image was adorable. When he opened his eyes and closed them again he could see himself being pushed away from Kiara and his cub by an invisible force.
He opened them once more and tears were running down his face. The remorse he felt for the pain he had caused Kiara.
The regret he had for his mistake.
The agony of being separated from his family.
It all came rushing into his memory in a blinding flash of light. He got to his feet and walked back the way he came to look for his sisters. When the three were together, they went to the northern border.
"Life's so hard," mumbled Vitani.
"Nothing's changed with us," sighed Marisa.
"Why is everything so heavy," moaned Kovu.
