Cindy was sitting on a rock giving herself a thorough afternoon wash.
"Today is the day, I'm going to officially confess my love for Kovu. He's going to know just how much I love him," said Cindy to herself.
After several minutes of licking, Cindy stood up to get a drink from the nearest stream.
She missed her daughter terribly, but she was in a much better place, and when the time comes, Cindy would announce to everyone that Kovu was Pricilla's father and no one could ever change that.
She lay on a rock and waited for Kovu to come. After an hour of waiting, her patience had paid off. Kovu was walking towards her, the only problem was, Vitani and Marisa and two lions Cindy hadn't recognized was with him.
She inhaled and exhaled slowly and walked towards them.
"Kovu honey there you are, I was getting worried about you," she said nuzzling him under his neck.
Kovu rolled his eyes and looked at his parents.
Diana was disgusted at the display the little witch was putting on.
She cleared her throat and Cindy looked at her questioningly.
"Cindy I'd like to introduce you to my parents, Diana and Burnt Ebony, and of course you remember Vitani and Marisa," said Kovu removing himself from Cindy's hold.
"It's a pleasure to make your acquaintance," said Cindy pleasantly.
"Charmed I'm sure," said Diana dryly surveying her appearance.
"It's nice to meet you Cindy," said Burnt Ebony shortly.
She straightened her shoulders and took a deep breath.
"Kovu can I speak to you, alone?" she asked nudging Kovu's shoulder.
"Cindy whatever you have to say, you can say it right here," said Kovu coolly.
Cindy bit her lip and sighed.
"Fine, I was just going to inquire about our daughter. Is she okay?" she asked putting emphasis on the word our.
"She's fine and if you're trying to say something, say it clearly and stop saying our as if we're sharing parental rights," Kovu said that last part so harshly Cindy felt insulted.
"Well I'm sorry, but the reason I'm saying our daughter is because I didn't make Pricilla alone. My egg and your…
"Why don't you shut the hell up Cindy?" asked Marisa.
"I wasn't speaking to you Marisa, I was speaking to Kovu. So mind your own business," retorted Cindy angrily.
Marisa growled and walked up to her.
"Last time I checked, Kovu is my  brother and I have all rights to have a say in his life," she snarled.
Cindy laughed and pinched Marisa's cheek.
"Aww I know he's your brother silly. But I'm the mother of his cub so I also have rights in his life," she said.
"Exactly, you're the mother of his cub, not his mate. So get over it," said Vitani.
"I don't understand, this conversation was directed to Kovu, why in God's name are you two butting in?" Cindy asked exasperatedly.
"Because they're his sisters," said Diana lowly.
"But I'm his…
Cindy began to say something but Kovu cut her off before she could finish her sentence.
"YOU'RE NOTHING TO ME!" he shouted.
Cindy flinched at his tone.
"Let me make one thing clear to you Cindy," said Kovu in a soft and an extremely dangerous voice.
"Kiara is my mate and if you think you're gonna come in between us, you're sadly mistaken. I hereby reject you and I wants nothing, absolutely nothing to do with you. Do you understand?" he asked.
Cindy felt tears coming to her eyes, but she pushed them away and nodded.
"Splendid, now leave me alone before I tell Simba to exile you,"
Cindy looked at Kovu one last time before she turned and walked away, her tail in between her legs and her ears low.
"Well that was easy," said Vitani.
Kovu and Marisa nodded.
"I hope I never have to see her again," said Kovu firmly.
"Same," said Vitani and Marisa in unison. After a moment, the three left for home with their parents, little knowing they were being watched.
The individual was Cindy and she was livid.
"You'll pay for your rejection Kovu, you and those two bitches you call your sisters. You'll all pay dearly," she snarled.
"And let's not forget, as you so love to remind everyone, you have a mate. So you'd better watch her back, since she's pregnant and all,"
