Chapter 1: Hello world

I slowly opened my eyes and closed them immediately again. I winked a few times. I had to make my eyes adjust to the light. I looked at my fingers. I had robot fingers. 'Wow!' I stood up. I tried to walk, but fell. 'Better be careful.' I thought. I walked carefully to the mirror. I looked in the mirror. I saw a girl standing afond of me 'Am I that?' I asked my self. I touched myself and the girl in the mirror did the same. I touched my face. 'Wow, I'm alive.' I tried to remember anything from my past life. Yet every thing was black. I quietly walked down stairs. I saw people talking. A man and a woman.

"Hello." I muttered.

The half robot man left the chair.

"Hello sleepy head." The woman replied.

The man grabbed my head. "Are you feeling any pain?"

I looked at him confused. "No."

The man moved his fingers. He looked at me with the look that I should copy him. I moved my fingers too. This is so weird. I can accually move my fingers. I feel so weird.

'Who am I'? I thought confused.

"I'm dr. Dyson Ido and this is nurse Gerhad." Tha man said. I smiled.

"How are you feeling?"

"I'm feeling fine, I'm a bit hungry although."

He hummed. ""Okay, the moter dysfuction levels work. That's a good sigh. Come I'll give you someyhing to eat."

He grabed a orange thing. "Here eat."

I took a bite of it. It tasted horrible. He laughed. "It tastes a lot better if you peel it."

"Well her taste buds work just fine I think." Nurse Gerhad laughed when she saw my face.

"I don't want to be rude but, who am I?" I asked dr. Ido.

"We hoped you could fill in that part. We can't find any records, but the fact that you are here says something."

I looked a little sad. I shaked my head. "Oh It's completely black accually. I can't remember anything. I don't even remember my own name."

"Don't worry, you'll remember later." I felt a tear escaped my eye.

"At least your fuctions work perfectly." Dr. Ido said to cheer me up.

He offert me a piece of the orange.

"Mmmm. This is really good."

He smiled. "Come I'll show you the world."

We walked outside. I looked around. It was really nosy and full. A lot people and machines where walking around. I looked up.

"What's that?" I pointed at a large thing in the sky.

"Zalem." Ido repied.

I looked in awe at it. "What hold it up? Magic?"

He laughed. "No my dear. No magic, something way stronger than magic. Engineering.

I looked at the sigh. It said Dr. Dyson Ido.

"Hey, that's you. You're name is dr. Ido. Do you have one for me. You know, just until I know my real name."

"Y/n, you're Y/n."

"Yes, I love it! Can I keep it?"

He nodded. "Yes, yes you can Y/n."

I'm sorry it took so long. Just between you and me, I kinda forgot that I still had this book. The only reason why I started updating again is because I recently watched Alita: Battle Angel again. What I still think is a great movie.
Besides I didn't thought that anyone would read this book. Or liked the movie too.

I don't know when I'll update again. I'll try to keep updating, but I'm currently very busy. So no promises.
