Spottedpelt,formerly Spottedpaw,watched the sun push itself over the trees,dew dripping from the few russet leaves on The Birch Tree.He and Squirrelclaw looked at each other."That was some vigil,"Gourgewhisker said,walking up to them."Yeah,"Robinfur said,walking up to them.
The four cats walked over to The Birch Tree."Thank you,StarClan,for making us courageous warriors," Robinfur said.Onefang and Mouselight joined and nodded with the others.
All seven former apprentices walked over to their designated patrols and duties;Gourgewhisker would guard camp in the case of attack;Spottedpelt would help Queens in the nursery and Mouselight,Robinfur and Onefang would go to the first hunting patrol.
Mouselight,Robinfur and Onefang desperately tried to catch prey;only Robinfur was successful.
When the hunting patrol returned,Robinfur left camp. "Where are you going?"Jaypaw asked,following his sister.
Gourgewhisker ran up to Onefang."I-I have something to tell you,"She said,her stomach feeling peculiar.
"Will you be my mate?"She asked.
"Uh...,"Onefang thought for a moment."Yes,"He said.
