Lemony Snicket owns these characters. i do not own them, but i wish Uncle Monty survived, so i wrote this.
Montgomery Montgomery worked happily in the kitchen, waiting for his coconut cream cake to finish baking and the arrival of the three Baudelaire orphans.
it had been a half hour past the time they were supposed to arrive.
"maybe they're just running late," Uncle Monty told himself, as the oven beeped.
Monty opened the oven door and placed the cake onto a platter and put it in the fridge. he sat silently in the living room, waiting for the Baudelaire children to come, with the annoying banker that had to accompany them.
"poor children. it's bad enough with them losing their parents," Uncle Monty whispered, "but that horrible Count Olaf as well." he walked into the Reptile Room.
the Incredibly Deadly Viper had escaped it's cage yet again. Monty smiled as he put his most recent discovery back in it's cage.
DING!
the Baudelaire's had arrived.
