Lexaeus x Short! Reader: Peaches

(I had a laugh about this scenario with someone, you know who you are!)

Reader's P.O.V.

   I jump up and down desperatly reaching for vegtable oil on top of the fridge. Whining I finally growl opening the lower cabinet beside me. Stepping on it and onto the counter.
   "Woah!" I nearly fall back onto the hot stove to the left of the counter. Why did I think having the fridge crush the other side of the counter was a good idea?
   I try to reach for the oil again, but it's still out of my reach!
   I hear thundering and nearly fall again only to be caught by the waist. Looking I see my hero standing tall at his stupid 7'0 ft height.
   (It's mostly agreed from what I've seen that he is 7'0 ft.)
   "Hey Lexaeus," He blinks for a few seconds looking around the kitchen. Probably trying to figure out what I have been doing.
   "Perfect timing teddy bear! Get that vegtable oil on top of he fridge for me before I fall and snap my neck." I pat him softly on his slightly pink cheek. He just sighs and places me down on the hardwood. Next thing I know he hands me the oil. Smiling I clap snatching the veggie oil.
    I pour the slightest amount onto the hot pan. Using the paper towel I spread it. Then I take the vannila batter pouring half a ladle on the pan. Putting the ladle back down I grab the pan handle.  Moving the batter around the pan. Grabbing a spatula I let it cook. Flipping it and pressing softly. I barely pay attention at the thundering foot steps as my bear. Lumbering his way down the hall probably to shower.
   I take the finished crepe placing it on a mat, and repeat the process several more times. I use up half the batter making about thirty crepes. I turn off the stove and go to the fridge. Looking through for my strawberries, blueberries, cherries, and....
    "Teddy!" I call out and I get a loud rumble as a response.
    "Where are my peaches?" Silence.
    "Teddy. Did you eat all of them!" Silence. Only the roaring sound of the shower. Sighing I take out all my other precut fruits. Placing them on the counter. I sort out the crepes.
    Five of each kind of crepe. I quickly fold my filling cream cover the crepe. Place a good amount of the respective fruits and then fold. I put a cover on my batter and sticking it in the fridge. I also store the finished crepes. Going to our room I change into public clothes. Slip on my running shoes and brush my h/c hair into a messy bun.
    Popping a mint into my mouth and grabbing my wallet. I check the charge on my phone. Then I sit on the bed and wait. Another five minutes pass before I hear the shower turn off. Still waiting I finally call out.
    "Lexaeus I need peaches. So either I walk all the way there alone, or you use those corridors of yours to warp us to the market." I can hear him lumbering around. Then reappearing with slightly damp hair. Fully dressed and seemingly a little embarrassed.
   "I told you not to eat the second pack." He summons a corridor and I walk inside it without waiting.
   "I'm sorry y/n." I grumble blowing up my cheeks as we appear outside the market.
   "I was making crepes for everyone. What if one of your 'co-workers' like peaches too?" He rumbles another apology. As we walk into the market. I find a fruit stand easily enough as the crowd divides for the giant beside me. 
   "Do you have any peaches?" The merchant nods pulling up a box full of pink peaches from behind the counter itself. I go through the peaches making sure none of them are rotten. Picking out the best twenty. I pay and make a flash decision to go eat at a restaurant.
    "Lexaeus let's eat at that diner." He eyes the tiny outdoor chairs.
    "Not those there are booths inside. I know because I went in there with my mom once." He rumbles and follows me inside. I chuckle as he has to duck under the open arch. Luckily when we sit at the booths he fits just fine.   
   For the most part, his large legs do prove a slight problem. But he shifts until he's comfortable. We order some food. Well. I order food for the both of us and he pays.
   I chat about my day and ask him how some of the other organization members have been.
   "Vexen is still fawning over his project. Zexion and I can't get him to leave long enough to breath none sterile air." Lexaeus says it with no blatant emotion, but I know he's somewhat concerned about his fellow member. As concerned as he can be with no heart.
    "The boy Roxas is progressing well." I nod happy to hear the newest member is doing well. After the small chat we get up and leave. Walking back we plan to open a corridor outside the market to attract as little attention as possible. I freeze when I see something on one of the market stands.
    "Go ahead." He rumbles noticing my head almost pop off my shoulders. I smile and Sprint to the stall and hide the object from his view. Promptly giving him and anyone else another view to enjoy.
    "How much?" I twirl the little tube in my hand.
    "That's three munny miss." I shift the bag of peaches on my shoulder. Grabbing my wallet I pay, and put the leather bound carrier back in my pocket. Popping off the cap of the tube I quickly I apply it, and the young merchant goes wide eyed before smiling at me and winking. I make sure to hide the object when I put it away.
    Hopping over I give a sugary sweet smile. His eyes widen slightly at my mood.
   "Lexy~" I coo and he blinks a bit. I'm fully aware he's not one for public affection, but I can't wait.
   "Kiss?" I wait knowing full well I can't reach him. Usually he picks me up, but I go a bit wide eyed when he kneels. Kissing me and finding out just what had me bouncing on air. Suddenly the air is full of clapping and cheering. We pull back and look around. Lexaeus stands rather quickly when one man shouts, "That's gonna be one big tux! Come to my Boutique when it's time for your fitting!"
    I break out in laughter. Oh God. The entire market thinks lex just!
   "Come on!" I grab his large hand. He let's me pull him along. Rubbing the back of his neck as we flee the market, and open a corridor back to our apartment.
   I drop the shopping bag on the table. Spinning I look at the flustered giant.
   "Enjoy the taste?" He looks at me and only responds with a short comment.
   "Peaches."
