Two more weeks go by in a flash. I've been getting back in the groove of school, but it still doesn't make it that much easier to get up at 6:30. As promised I introduced Jade to Bri over the weekend and they automatically hit it off. Bri was a little shy but Jade has a way of bringing people out of their shell. We invited Amber but her and Luke were both visiting packs out of state.

School is going fine...thankfully Professor Malcom hasn't spoken the past few classes but his stares do not go unnoticed. Marcus keeps asking me about him but I make sure to not worry him. Jane has been her usual self, Brian assures me that she likes me but I can't help but not agree. Harry pops into my head more than I wish to admit, he's one of my best friends...to not know where he is, how he is, or what he's doing kills me. My hand unconsciously moves to the bracelet on my wrist, I smile and just pray he finds what he's looking for.

Aiden waves me over and I smile and head to him. He's been very friendly and has been so helpful relating with me with school. Sometimes it's nice to talk to someone who doesn't really know who you are, can't judge you by your past. "Hey" he smiles kindly "did you finish chapter 30?" He asks as I take my seat and pull out my binder

I blush "I finished the whole book actually, it was so good I couldn't resist!" I tell him which makes him laugh

"Of course you like it, it's all romance" he rolls his eyes with a small smirk

"It is not! There is romance and drama and mystery, it's great" I finish my explanation and realize I'm still talking to a boy who like most has no interest in that

"Whatever, I'll be glad when it's over. 6 more chapters for me, these theme assignments are a bitch though" he says as the teacher walks in

"Let me know if you need any help" I tell him and again he smiles and nods

The rest of the class goes smoothly, we have a thorough discussion on the chapters we were to read and went over the essay we have to do after we finish. Class is dismissed and me and Aiden walk out and part ways, he asks to meet sometime for time to discuss the book and I agree.

My feet move sluggishly to my history class as I try to fight the yawn escaping my lips. The air is cool today with shadows of the trees cascading down across the gum filled sidewalk. Every girl around me is bundled up in a sweat shirt and leggings, I almost feel weird wearing jeans. I pull my jacket closer to me as I walk into the building. I look up and am met with the familiar eyes of professor Malcom. I instantly look back down and follow the lines on the tile floor until I'm right in front of the classroom door.

I reach for the door and as soon as I turn the handle a large cool hand is placed on mine. I jump a little and look up slowly through my lashes "allow me" his voice is melodic and a charming smile unfolds across his face

"Thank you" I bring a fake smile to my lips and nod

He follows in rather close behind me and I hurriedly walk over to Brian and Jane. "Good morning" I am more relaxed as I put more distance between me and my odd professor

"Morning" Brian says sleepily while Jane doesn't respond

Brian starts to talk to me about my weekend but my focus remains on Jane as her and professor Malcom share a long stare. I question it but refocus my attention on Brian. "It was good, worked on homework mostly" I smile
