Always tell them
to sit and listen
No one ever wonders
what they have to say
They raise their hand
almost bursting out of their seats
But no one calls for them.
And that brilliant
genius
idea
is put away and forgotten
never to be heard.
It's a sad thought
Why must we always be called on
to speak?
