Coming home from their trips, the family of three were really thrilled to be home.
Stevie and Lindsey stayed gone two weeks total; two and a half days in Morocco, therefore eleven and a half days in Rome, plus flight time, to and from.
Since Tara had been with her parents, she had been glued thus far because she had missed them so much. It wasn't often that she was far from them for a whole two weeks. And for her first fime; the way Barbara decribed it all, she had done fairly well with the separation.
Lori, Christopher and their mother would also be on their way to California in the next couple days so that they would all be ready for the on the road Christmas party. They were then going to stay the week with their sister and daughter and leave after the New Year.
"Even though it was perfect and heaven-like in Rome, it does feel good to be home," Stevie mentioned.
"Yeah, it does---" he assured as he slipped into their bed.
Tara decided to sleep with them for the night because she had missed them, endlessly.
"Mommy, daddy, are you leavin' again?" Tara asked as her mother rubbed lotion into her legs.
"No, baby---not for a long time again. And if we go, you're coming with, baby." Stevie slipped into bed and covered herself with the blankets.
Tara kind of nodded her head.
"But guess what, baby?"
"What?" the little girl rose her brows.
"We're gonna decorate the house tomorrow so it'll be nice and pretty for all of our friends... Isn't that exciting?"
"Yeah!" she beamed, happily.
"Alright and guess what else?" she had to throw in.
"What?"
"Gabriel's gonna be coming home and he's really excited to see you."
The little girl gasped in excitement because she hadn't seen her brother in what felt like forever.
Even though, he had come to visit, the weeks prior---leading up to before Stevie and Lindsey left to get married.
"That exciting," she responded, happily.
"I thought you would say that, precious baby---" Stevie said with a smile. Sliding under the covers of her bed, she placed a hand on top of Tara's belly, nails grazing her skin to sooth her.
Even Stevie was thrilled to have her baby back in her presence. She had missed her just as much even though she had kept herself occupied. But really, seeing her daughter now, it made her feel complete and she loved being with her. That was her favorite thing in the world; to be mom.
Stevie elevated one of her arms to rest on it as well as run her fingers through Lindsey's curls.
This time she had felt bad because Lindsey didn't sleep the flight home because he was a little restless. And even though she had slept some of the way, she was still tired. But Lindsey only, briefly napped on the flight from Arizona.

As the next couple of days passed, Stevie and Lindsey got the house Christmas ready for the kids and people to come to their house later on. And even though the house was big and there was a lot of ground to cover, the three did well. They just didn't decorate the upstairs like she normally would have. Instead, they only put things in Tara's room so that she had Christmas time for her, specifically.
"Everything looks good?" Stevie asked, doing a three-sixty turn to look around her house.
"Yes, baby... For the millionth time, yes---" Lindsey laughed, a tad.
