chapter 3

Adrien 

I looked at Marinette I felt like I could trust her "a year ago my girlfriend and I lived with me but something happened she left to England for a week I was dealing with a gang back here in Paris but she never came back I went looking for her but found nothing I broke me I didn't sleep for months and didn't eat for weeks I was still on the job but Nino would have to drag me out of bed every night I still can't get over her no matter how many time I try it breaks me every day not seeing her not knowing what happens and I can't be there for her" I said as she looked at down at me 

"I'm so sorry that happen to you I hope one day you will find her I bet she would be happy to see you again," she said as I nodded

 "thank you" I fall asleep no dream come 

Marinette 

I was in the kitchen working on breakfast as Nino and a male officer come through the door I had Emma in my arms as I cooked 

"Morning boys," I said as they look at me 

"I tough you would have gone home by now," Nino said 

"no the doctor said that he will be on pain killers for another day and not to leave his side," I said as he nodded

 "oh my the way this is Plagg," he said pointing to the other officer

 "It's nice to meet you would you guys like something to eat," I asked as they nodded 

"yes please"

 "would you mind holding Emma for me," I asked as Plagg come up

 "sure" he smiles 

"she cute" Nino said

 "thank you she is a handful" I smile 

"my wife is a few weeks in we having our first child," Plagg said as I smile

 "Your wife is lucky to have you I didn't have anyone to help me when I had Emma," I said as he frowns looking down at Emma

"What happened to her father?" he asked as I looked at him setting a plat in front of both of them taking Emma into my hands 

"my ex was dangerous and I didn't want him around Emma's father to protected him I left and in tell know I could not fight him off," I said as Adrien come down 

"Morning guys," he said "morning" he sat down in front of his plate of food 

"I'm sorry I kept you here the night," he said looking at me and I made Emma's bottle

Adrien 

my head was hurting as I sat at the table "you should eat know and then you can take the pain killers you have a connection so I dont think its a good idea to go to work" Marinette said 

"but" 

"no, the doctor said it is not good and you should have someone with you at all time for the week," she said as I nodded

 "about that" Nino said looking at Marinette

 "so Adrien old man is out of town along with his mom and Adrien has no other family and I am busy and Plagg is also busy along with his wife and Alya," he said as my eyes widen 

"your all busy cant you find anyone," I asked as he shook his head

 "on one can we are all busy," he said as I groan

 "my head"

 " I dont have anything for a week only training in the morning," Marinette said

 "no you have a life," I said 

"No it's my fault you got hit in the head with a gun at least let me do this for you," she said as I nodded 

"I will have one of my staff drop off a few things for me," she said as I nodded 

"I can't help with the baby if you like I dont mind," I said as she shook her head 

"no its fine your going to sleep a lot so you won't have time its all okay I have down this before one of my friends broke her leg and I stayed with her for months helping her out" she smiles as I nodded 

"Okay fine," I said 

after a little Nino and Plagg left I close all the blinds and turn off the lights my head was hurting as I laid down on the couch Emma was sleeping in a crib next to the fireplace Marinette was working on her laptop and making calls she also told me things about her self but not a lot she talked about Emma's father it was sad how she protected him and had to leave him with a baby and had to raise her on her own my heart hurt
