his eyes told hyunjin he'd already had his heart closed.

hyunjin couldn't blame him either, but it still hurts him that they could never have the same relationship as before.

he looked forward to staying with seungmin, living a normal life, kissing him every minute and spend the nights talking and cuddling.

add in a bit of criminal ass kicking, it would've been perfect for the both of them.

it's sad it all ended in a flash.

that thought made hyunjin anxious.

actually, seungmin had a lot to say sorry for. for hurting hyunjin, making his life miserable, making his friends get tied up in this mess and for loving hyunjin that it hurts him in the end when things are failing.

he's getting lost and just seeing hyunjin again made him confused in the maze he was handling. especially when he knows he's not getting over him that easily.

❝ s-so... are we— ❞

❝ we're good now hyunjin, i don't mind working with you on the field. i have to go now. ❞
seungmin forced a smile and the sad look on hyunjin's face broke his heart.

❝ there's more than just working with you— ❞

❝ we can't go back. accept it. i have to go. ❞   
seungmin cut him off again and turned his back. tears now falling from his eyes but he quickly wiped them away.

❝ h-hey! seungmin-ah! ❞
hyunjin called out.

❝ i-i love you. ❞

the words finally broke away from hyunjin's tied tongue making seungmin stop abruptly. the pain in his chest now started to kill him from the inside hearing those words come from hyunjin when he knows he can't stop himself from giving in as well, but he has to. not just for his sake, but for everyone else's.

❝ get your stupid head out your ass and do what you're meant to do or else your friends and hyunjin will have to be kept in the same prison hyunjin stayed in like a death casket. he'd hurt you once, don't be a fool and be hurt twice. he doesn't love you. he can never love someone, do you understand? ❞

seungmin clenched his fists and continued walking away, hyunjin didn't bother coming after him.

he was stayed frozen in place, he wanted to shout and destroy everything in sight but somehow he was yielded.

he was defeated. the undefeated was defeated by love and it slowly poisoned him from the inside.
