Chapter 3

Five years later.

We had just finished a hunt and were walking slowly back to the car. I looked at my watch, 9 pm three hours to go.

We were 2 miles away from the car, in the middle of a dark wood.

Whilst we were walking Castiel grabbed my arm. Sam and Dean kept walking ahead.

"What Cass?" I said as I turned to him.

Both Castiel and Gabriel looked at me.

" you have to tell them Skye....they need to say... goodbye," said Castiel sadly.

I looked back at my brothers.

"I know" I replied sadly.

"Hey, guys!" Dean shouted. "You wanna pick up the pace a bit"

I rolled my eyes and smiled sadly as Dean walked away.

We carried on walking. I looked at my watch 10:30 pm.

All of a sudden there was a loud howl. I jumped and started to shiver as I walked. 

We finally got to the car at 11 pm. Sam and Dean got there first.

Another howl.

I started to shake. Sam noticed.

"Skye? ....what was that howl? Why are you shaking?" Sam asked as Dean watched me with concern.

I took a deep breath.

"Do you remember  5 years ago  when we fought the vampires and you got hurt?"

Dean nodded "yeah?"

"Cass didn't heal you"

They looked confused.

"huh?" Sam said confused.

Realisation appeared on Dean's face.

"No! Skye! You didn't? Tell me you didn't!" Dean begged his eyes starting to fill with tears.

"I had to Dean"

Sam still looked confused.

"What did you do?"

"Think about it, Sam! We died! She made a deal and brought us back!"

Sam looked at me shock on his face. tears welling up in his eyes.

"There must be something we can..." he started to say but stopped as another howl ripped through the air.

MIDNIGHT

"I'm sorry. I love you guys so much. You were the best family I could ask for" I cried as I ran"

I ran off into woods. I could hear the hound behind me. I tripped and fell. The hound pounced on me and I felt it's claws and teeth rip into me. The pain as his claws and teeth dug in was overwhelming, like hundreds of sharp knives stabbing me over and over again.

  Then it was gone. I opened my eyes and knew I was in hell!

**NO ONE"S POV**

Sam, Dean, Cass and Gabriel ran after Skye and found her body lying on the ground. Sam ran to Skye and held her in his arms.

Dean knelt and brushed the hair from Skye's face.

Cass and Gabriel stood there in shock. Gabriel looked down at Skye's body and thought to himself 

"I didn't want to lose you. I wasn't strong enough to save you ....... but I will be"
