{20. Why so glum?}

Damon goes to the bar and asks for a drink and Alaric arrives and sits next to him. "I'll have the same." Alaric told the bartender. "I screwed up." Damon said in a scratchy voice and Alaric nodded. "Yeah. Yeah, you did." He said and Damon nods.

Me and Klaus arrived at the Mystic grill and stood behind Alaric and Damon. "Gentlemen? Why so glum?" Klaus asked them and Alaric and Damon look at him.

"Ugh. Klaus, I presume." Damon said annoyed and he looks at me and smiles and I smile back.

"In the flesh." He said with a smile and he looks at Alaric. "Thanks for the loaner, mate." Klaus told my boyfriend and Damon gets up looking angry. "Any reason you stopped by to say hi?"

"I'm told you and your brother fancy my doppelgänger. Just thought I'd remind you to not do anything you'll regret." He said seriously and Damon breaks into a smile at the irony of the comment and I knew that smile and he did something wrong. "Ha. Thanks for the advice. I don't suppose I could talk you into a postponement, by any chance, huh?" He asked and Klaus looks at him with a raised eyebrow.

"You are kidding?" Klaus asked him and then he looks at Alaric and see if he was joking. "He is kidding, right?"

Alaric shakes his head. "No, not really." Alaric told my brother. "I mean, come on, what's one month in the whole grand scheme of things?" He implied as Klaus got closer and I also walked closer. "Let me be clear...we have our vampire.  We have our werewolf.  We have everything we need. The ritual will happen tonight. So if you want to live to see tomorrow, don't screw it up." He said as I was about to walk towards Alaric but I felt Klaus grab my arm.

"You move a step closer and I will kill them both." He said and I looked at him and growled at him and grabbed his arm roughly and pushed him against the bar counter roughly.

"I may be doing everything you told me to do for the sacrifice, but you don't get to tell me if I can't say goodbye to my boyfriend." I growled and he looks into my eyes and his eyes soften. "Sorry." He said and I nodded and let go of him and he fixes his shirt as I went up to Alaric and grabbed his face and kissed his lips and he kisses back as Klaus looks away and them me and Alaric move away.

"I love you." I told him and he smiles. "I love you too." He told me with a smiles and looks down at my stomach and touches it. "I love you guys too." He told our babies and Klaus looked at the scene and he couldn't help and smile a little but it went away and he looks at Luna.

"Okay sister, let's go." He said and I grabbed Alaric one more time and kissed him and Klaus grabs my arm and we left.

Katherine is making coffee, me and  Klaus arrive and we see Katherine but I just leave the room and left them alone. "Everything okay?" She asked Klaus.

Klaus narrows his eyes at her. "What have you been doing?" He asked her. "Making coffee. Do you want some?" She asked as he vamp speeds over to her and grabs her by the throat and compels her.

"Tell me what you've been doing." He compels her and Katherine says in a fake monotone. "Making coffee." She chokes out as he releases her and she holds her neck as she is gasping and turns around.

"Wait. Take off your bracelet." He told her as she takes it off and gives it to him. "Now, I want you...to walk over to the window and stand in the sunlight."

"But I'll burn." She frowns. "You don't have a choice." He told her as she stands in the sunlight and the side of her face exposed to the sunlight starts to burn and she starts screaming in pain and Klaus looks at her with a smile and he lets her burn for a moment.

"That's enough." He said as she vamp speeds  over to a corner of the room, in the shadows. "Guess I was wrong. All right, then. I need you to do something for me." He told her.

Stefan parks his car, goes out and opens the door for Elena and gets out of the car. "Thanks for today." She told him as Stefan feels something and he puts himself in front of Elena and they both turn their heads and sees Klaus and Luna is there.

"You got me all nervous. I thought maybe you'd done something stupid. You ready, my dear?" Klaus asked Elena and I look at her sadly.

"I'm ready." She said swallowing and she starts walking toward him but Stefan stops her.

"No." He said with tears in his eyes and I felt sad for them. "I wouldn't. No reason for you to die, too." Klaus told Stefan as Elena turns around and looks at Stefan but he can't stop staring at Klaus.

"No. Stefan, hey, hey, it's fine, it's fine. I'll go. No one needs to get hurt. There's no reason for you to get hurt." She told him and kisses him.

"I love you."

"I love you." He told her and they kiss again. "Close your eyes. Close your eyes." She told him with tears and he closes his eyes and she  lets go of his hand and we vanp speeded away as Stefan opens his eyes, she's gone.

Me, Elena and Greta are walking in the dark through the forest. "Where are we going?" Elena asked Greta.

"This way." She told us. "You're Luka's sister, aren't you? I heard about you. He and your father were looking for you." Elena told her.

"Well, they were wasting their time. I wasn't lost." Greta told her as Elena

trips on a rock and I catch her.
"God, I can't see anything." Elena breaths out as Greta lights fires all around them and me and Elena see someone lying on the ground and we rush towards the person and we see Jenna and I felt my heart stop.

"Jenna? Jenna, Jenna! Jenna? Hey, hey, Jenna! Jenna!" Elena cries out as I tried to look for a pulse but I can't find one.

"Oh, my God. No. Jenna! No!" I cry out as Elena does to and we look at Greta.
"

He killed her? Why? I did everything that he asked." Elena cries out as Jenna gasps awake and I jump back a little.

"She's not dead. She's in transition." Greta told us as I glare at her.
