"Lovely Complex"Daishou x Reader
People have a knack for certain things.
Everyone has a certain talent or skill that make them stand out.
Some are complex and some are simple.
Some people find things easy and refreshing,
While some find things rather hard and complicated.
You belong to the majority that found life very simple because you didn't bother getting into such trivial situations that made your life more bothersome.
To put it bluntly, your life was simple. And you liked it that way.
But simple doesn't necessarily mean stale and boring. If anything your life was far from boring, and being in the same college prep class as Nekoma's Scheming Captain Kuroo Tetsurou screamed that out. You two were close friends along with the oh so Boisterous owl captain Bokuto Koutarou,which meant you too were close to Kenma and Akaashi, the sole voices of reason for their teams. You were so close in fact that you hung out with the team during and after practice since you didn't bother in joining one of your own. And if you had to be honest you've seen a lot. From Yaku constantly nagging Lev, and kenma and Tora's daily misunderstandings, even up to the point where you witnessed a few girls trying to confess to the scheming captain himself, only to be reject by him because of "reasons", but you secretly knew that the real reason was he didn't really swing that way, and that he'd already taken interest on the team's beloved pudding head, not that he would admit it himself though (the poor boy has too much pride for his own good.)
The Nekoma volleyball team was a wild bunch for sure, but despite their childish antics you absolutely adored the team and watched their matches all over Tokyo. Even if you didn't know how to play as amazingly or as flashily as them, heck! you barely knew how to do a proper serve.
But despite that, your interest in the game really pulled through.
You would be there to observe their matches and take note of their improvement regardless of them already having coach Naoi to do all that.
Since that routine had already been drilled into your mind.
Turn up, observe, hang out and repeat. simple.
Nothing too hard nor too time consuming.
And despite it being very redundant, you still enjoyed it nonetheless.
But, after a match from a certain school,
And after meeting a certain Green Haired Captain, that simple routine changed drastically.
Daishou Suguru, Nohebi's snake captain and nekoma's sworn enemy(Or at least to Kuroo since he hated Daishou for some reason.) crashed into the gym with his team, giving Kuroo a nasty look while his mouth formed a grin. Snake, was the first thing that came into mind. A sly and provocative snake, or at least that was how you perceived him after getting insight from kuroo.
You saw Daishou and the others frequently during practice matches for tournaments. And despite being friends with the team for almost 3 years you haven't really met him since now. So that's why all of you (expect for Kuroo when Daishou was around and vice versa) hung out after games, and casually became friends, greeting one another and making small talk when you see each other. And if you had to be honest, they were fun to hang around with, even Daishou (who was constantly bad mouthed by kuroo). He honestly was very different from what you expected, and from what the team told you. Though you did consider that they may have been exaggerating since kuroo hated Daishou's guts, but he seemed like a good person to you.
