Luke Warm

My bathroom's floor isn't cold today
The towels are damp though, cause of the rain
The window left opened, screen closed
Tiring, blissful, memories glow

And my eyes are dark, my smile wide,
my hair up and swirling around
My feet are bare, nothing to hide,
people are saying I feel down.

Changes are fast, but time is slow
Ants taking over my counter and stove
Sweat on my neck, trying to smush them all
Wondering if they think it's their fault

The air is Luke warm
Not like water, or skin, or wind
But like a soft, subtle smile.
A confusing one, that drives me wild.

I won't if you won't.
I don't if you don't.
