After Thanos' snap you got separated from everyone else so when they checked who was still there they couldn't seem to find you causing them to believe you were gone. Really gone. Days, weeks, months passed and you couldn't find anyone you knew so you started walking around aimlessly and weeks passed when up ahead you saw the avengers compound. You ran and you saw the door was locked but noticed a camera so you started telling who ever, if anyone, who you were and then the door opened and the first person that you saw was your best friend Steve Rodgers.
