Chapter 76

Rydel POV:

I was laying in my bed when I hear whimpering coming from the bunk under me, I jumped down and rub my eyes to see Laura sitting up holding her legs to her chest at the very back of her bunk, and our bunks are pretty tall and deep.

“Laura?” I say wondering what was up

I see her quickly wipe her eyes and sniff “morning” she says with a stuffy nose and a shaky voice

I crawl into her bunk next to her while she’s still hugging her legs

“What’s wrong?” I ask her looking at her while she is looking down at her bed

She doesn’t answer, instead she bursts out softly crying

“Aww Laurie” I pull her towards me and she hugs me tight while staining my shirt with her tears but I don’t care right now. She cries into my shoulder and I hug her as tight as she’s hugging me”

“I'm s-sorry” she says still whimpering

“For what?” I say confused while still rubbing her back

She pulls away and looks me dead in the eyes

“For ruining the concert and messing everything up for everyone” she looks down

“Hey, you didn’t do anything, you we're sick and you tried, and it was all that jerk Harry” I say thinking of what happened

“Thanks Delly for understanding, you’re a great sister” she says smiling her beautiful smile

“You’re a great sister too, now wipe those tears and smile that smile of yours for the rest of the day” I say wiping her tears

She giggles and nods

Laura POV:

Rydel and I are in the living room/Kitchen watching TV when we hear a smash and someone groan

Rydel and I both had a confused face, then we heard laughs and someone’s voice that sounded familiar say “shut up”

Then we see everyone come out but one person and run towards us

“Laura! You’re awake!” Vanessa says

“Ya, haha” I say with a little stuffy nose

“We’re glad you feel better” Riker says with a smile on his face

Then I see Ross come out with ear phones on looking down and with a bruise on his arm, then he looks up and sees me and a huge smile lands on his face

He runs towards me and picks me up in order to hug me and to be his height

“Haha hi Ross” I say smiling while laughing

“I'm so happy your ok” he says putting me down smiling

“I was sick not in Puerto Rico for the whole summer” I say laughing

“I know but I worry about you” he says a little shyly looking down

I giggle and put my hands on the side of his face caressing it with my thumbs

“I love you too” a say in a whisper

He looks down into my eyes and away from the floor and he starts leaning down

I quickly run away and sit on the couch
