"I'm home!" Yells a girl opening the front door

"Finally!" I yell walking up to her

"Hey Ross" she says kissing my cheek

"You know we can't date" I say

"I know but I miss doubt that" she says putting her hand on my cheek which makes me smile and she smiles back then slowly walks away

Man, she's so perfect

Why can't I have her

"Where were you?" Riker asks

"Sorry, I had a double shift today because I realized I needed extra service hours and I mowed someone la- law-" before Laura could finish her sentence she falls on Riker who is sitting on the couch

"Someone was tired" he says chuckling

"Well it is 11:00 at night and she started at 3:00" Says Rydel

"I'll take her to her room" I say and pick her up from Riker's lap

I walk her to her room while she's cradled in my chest

I place her in her bed and tuck her in

"Goodnight gorgeous" I say to her and kiss her forehead before slowly walking out then closing the door

"She must be worked out" Olivia says

"And then this morning she told me she has to do the same for a while" Vanessa said

"And then we have interviews and songs to write and record" rocky says

NEXT MORNING

"Ok is everyone ready for the interview?" Asks Riker

"Yup" we all say

"Wait where's Rydel?" ROCKY ASKS

"I'm here I'm here, beauty takes time" she says and we all leave

AT THE INTERVIEW

Interviewer: I

I: we're here with R5

R5: (smile) hey (hi)

I: so we have some questions for you

Riker: hit us

I: ok so who taught you how to play your instruments

Ross: well Rocky taught himself how to play guitar and then we got into it and then we all learned

Interview: so basically Rocky started all of this

Rocky: OH MY GOd I feel so special!

All: (laugh)

I: ok so why did you guys break up?

All: (look at each other)

Laura: uh well oh, at moments it would be awkward where we didn't want to make each other feel bad with our ideas

I: ok so ladies these boys are all yours and guys, make sure to brush your teach daily

All: (laugh awkwardly)

I: ok well it was nice to have all of you here

Riker: it was nice to be here

END OF INTERVIEW:

AT HOME

"Ross, you put the eggs in first" Laura says

"Laura, theirs no steps on how to make cake" I say

"Whatever" she says and starts to mix the cake and I chuckle

"You know you haven't changed since we were little" I say looking at her sun flower shirt with her overalls

She smiles and goes back to mixing

Suddenly I get a call and quickly answer it

"Hello?" I ask

"Hey Ross this is Jimmy" the voice says

"Hey jimmy" I say "what up?" I ask him

"I want you to do a duet with Carrie Shiet" he says

"What? Why me?" I ask mad

"Because she wants to do it with you and I said it was fine because your not dating Laura anymore" he says and I sigh

"Ok sure, what time?" I ask taking a deep breath

"Tomorrow morning and bring The rest of the band too your guys need to record

"Ok, see you then" I say and hang up to see Laura staring at me

"What's up?" She asks me with her hand on my shoulder

"I have to do a duet with Carrie Shiet tomorrow and then we have to record in the studio" I say

"I-is it a love song?" She asks and I nod

Then she giggles

"Ross it's ok, I'm not mad, I'm fine, we're not dating anymore why would I be sad" she says going back to making the cake

But I know she's not happy about this inside

And I'm not either
