The Funeral

"I can't believe he died" Hermione stated sadly as everyone sullenly walked towards the crypt.

" atleast he's at peace now dear" Narcissa stated as she placed her arm around the girl.

They had become closer seeing as Narcissa was Esmai Zabini's best friend and Hermione was dating Draco.

"thanks for the support Narcissa, i dont honestly know what we would do without you" Hermione stated as she hugged the woman tightly.

" you're very much welcome Hermione, anyway that's what a mother-in-law is here for right?" she joked lightly.

" yeah" Hermione chuckled, before she turned solemn, seeing as they were just about to enter the family crypt where her father lay, may he rest in peace.

The funeral carried on for two hours, filled with many crying people and the sobs of those close to the poor man that had lost his life to the frightful fate of death.

They eventually left and headed towards Malfoy Manor, where they had all met for tea on recent occasions before the funeral. Draco, Blaise, Hermione, Ginny, Narcissa and Esmai all entered the large manor and sat in the sitting room, still crying sadly as the loss of the dear man had still been fresh. Esmai Zabini was known notoriously for marrying many rich men and then losing them to a mysterious death each time, however Artemis Zabini was the only man she had ever not lost to mysterious circumstances, which was extremely lucky considering the birth of their twin children. The truth is that most of the men she had originaly married had been collected by voldermort and then returned dead as a threat towards her that her first born female shall be taken from her, so she always knew that she would have to give up Hermione.

" mia? can i speak with you outside?" Draco asked softly as everyone else took a seat in the beautiful room.

" we'll be back in a minute guys, sorry" Hermione stated softly as she followed him out.

They walked towards the main library of the manor , silently, hoping that they could have a moment alone for a minute atleast.

" mia, i'm sorry for your loss, especially seeing as you've never met him" Draco stated softly as he hugged her tight.

"it's okay Dray, i'll get over it soon, just need some time is all" Hermione replied sullenly.

" you'll pull through mia, you always do, but if anything ever gets too hard i'm here" he said gently, placing a stray curl behind her ear.

" thank you Draco, so much" She replied. " Dray? do you want to move in with me?" she then asked.

" i don't know mia, i mean i want too but i've got the shop, i haven't even stayed there yet "he chuckled.

" i know you have the shop babe, but we could expand mine, we have magic for Merlins sake and we could sell yours and join ours together, we'll be making money together, we'll be working together and we'll get extra money from the selling of your shop, it's perfect" She stated as she pressed herself to him and her hands on his chest.

" you've really thought this through haven't you babe?" he chuckled.

" okay i'll move in with you, when do you want to start packing up my store?" he then asked with a wide grin.

"soon babe, very soon " she replied as she hugged him tightly with a large smile on her face.

"okay, shall we go give everyone the news? it may cheer them up? , oh i just had an amazing idea" he stated happily.

" what's that then babe?" she asked softly.

" well you know how you said that Ginny would be moving in with Harry and working with you once she'd left Hogwarts on Saturday?.......Well why don't she move in with us? we have the spare room, and it'll be fun, maybe even Blaise will move with her, it would bring them closer, and i'm sure with us all being together then we could heal better and we'd all become closer and maybe it will help with connecting properly with you and Blaise, you know especially now that you don't have to hide your friendship" Draco rambled with a shy smile towards the black haired beauty.
