today we had an off day so i spent most of my day at the dorm with my members, mark didn't have an off day, i think. "you have an off day from wgm?" harin asked, she was slumped next to me on the couch. we were currently rewatching descendants of the sun and crying haha.

"i think so, no one told me anything" i shrugged turning back to the tv.

"STRAY KIDS ARE ON! MOVE!" jiah screamed taking the remote from us and switching the channel to a music program, and there was stray kids performing their comeback 'miroh' i mean it's a good song but i don't want them to know i stan haha

"oh yES FINALLY!" nari jumped onto the couch and i sighed

"omg look at han!! he's so cute!" jiah literally screamed

"changbin!!" nari squealed and jumped up and down.

"chan is beautifully talented in my opinion" harin said as she was still sat next to me.

"well-" i tried to say before getting cut off by all three of their phones going off. "how rude!" i faked being angry

"uh, we gotta go" harin hurriedly got up and grabbed her things while the other ones were glued to the tv, "jiah, nari lets go!" harin was obviously annoyed with the younger ones

"where you guys going?" i asked because i was being left here all by myself. i don't know where my other members were either and i didn't want to be alone

"we have to run some errands" jiah spoke as she walked backwards still looking at the tv

"can i come?" i asked and all three of them turned to me

"no, you deserve a day off" harin said as she was pulling the girls out the door.

"well, that sucks" i slumped back down into the couch as i switched the channel back to dots.

it's been a few hours since all the girls left me, i was starting to get bored. i finished dots for a third time so i decided to watch moon lovers: scarlet heart ryeo.

it was definitely a nice wintery day for a surprise party! yesterday we were planning sam's surprise party so that's why we left her all alone.

incoming call: mork lee

"hello?"

"hey, is everything ready?"

"as ready as it'll ever be"

"ok, good. jaehyun & johnny
will meet you there, so hurry!"

"why would u tell me that!!!"

"ow my ear!! but you'll be
fine. ill get there as soon as i can"

"ok bye mork"

"uh, bye."

"we gotta go" i whispered to jiah and she nodded

"nari, harin, chaewon and i have dance practice" jiah announced, we slipped out of the dorm as fast as we could so sam wouldn't ask questions. "ok, what'd he say?" she asked once we got in a car

"he said he'll get there as soon as he could, and he's sending johnny and jaehyun." i said leaning back in my chair.

we got to the restaurant where we were having her birthday party. it wasn't big because we just wanted it to be our group members, and nct. "hey, sorry were late!" johnny said as he walked thru the door, "wow." he said looking around the restaurant. we decorated it with lights and banners to make it look pretty.

"you guys did a great job" jaehyun commented as i nodded my head, "what do you want us to do?" he questioned

"uh, set up some chairs and get the balloons and we're done." i simply said, taking a seat on the booth. "it should be ready for 8 tonight"

"ok, let's get a move on!" nari said as she got everyone to work again.

it was currently 7:15 pm and the party is starting soon. we all got dressed in the outfits we picked out, everything was ready, everyone was here, but now we were just waiting for sam and jaehwa to make an appearance. the time went by and it was 8:00 pm. we texted jaehwa and she said they'd be here right away.

"i see them!" chenle shouted as he was our look out guy, "everyone hide!" he shouted and we all got behind something, or under something and the lights went out

"jae, no one is here. it's completely dark, i don't think this is the right-" sam was cut off by chenle turning the lights on and everyone jumping up from their hiding places to shout 'surprise'

"happy birthday, sam!" we all shouted, sam was in complete shock. i hugged my group members in relief. "thank god, it's over!" i joked as we pulled sam into a hug.

"do you like it?" chaewon asked, holding up a banner that says 'happy bday sam! i love you!'

"are you kidding me? i love it so much!" she laughed pulling us into a group hug again

i was still stunned that my members and mark's members worked together to plan a surprise party for me. the camera men for wgm were around, so i guess we didn't have an off day. i walked up behind mark, "thank you." i softly said as he jumped a little, but smiled once he noticed me

"im glad you liked it." he smirked and hugged me

"i heard you were the one to plan it." i said into our hug

"OH MY GOD KISS HER!" chanyeol shouted as he jumped up and down

"KISS HIM!" jisoo shouted from her side of the couch

"i would totally cry if someone did that for me." baekhyun sniffled as he wiped a fake tear

"i might've" he shrugged, smirking, "but you did like it, right?"

i clashed my hands together as i smirked, "yes, i loved it. thank you so much." i said, pulling him into a hug again, he wrapped his arms around me. i felt like i melted into his arms. "you're the best, mark." i whispered softly, pulling away.

"sam!" someone yelled out, catching my attention and pulling me away.

a/n IM SORRY ITS LITERALLY TAKING FOREVER BUT I DIDNT HAVE AN MOTIVATION AND I HAD WRITERS BLOCK FOR LIKE EVERRRR AND i still do 😩 idk what i was thinking when i decided to write this, but a lot of you really like it and it makes my heart swell💘 but it might take longer for me to get my shit together and actually figure out an idea on how to end it and how to actually move forward, but thank you for being so beyond patient!! i'll update another chapter later on today tho, so thank you for always waiting!💜
