after sam's performance my heart was broken, you could tell how close we've gotten in the last couple of months. why does this have to be so sad? "mark, are you ready?" the producers asked and i nodded slowly. i wasn't ready, i so wasn't ready to end this all. i walked towards the centre of the stage, a chair was placed for me as i sat on it. sam was staring at me with her puffy eyes as she sat on a couch in front of the stage. she looked so upset, but so beautiful.

mark held onto the mic like his life depended on it, he didn't know why he picked this song, but he was ready to sing it. the music started as pictures of sam and him were displayed behind him for everyone to see.

"i love ikon" jiah whined holding onto harin's arm, the rest of the panelist members couldn't moved, they were too fixated on the way mark and sam had a connection even if they were only a few feet away.

"that was super cute!!" jisoo smiled as they watched the couple hug
"i really liked that song for this!" jaehwa said as some nodded their heads
"it almost fit their situation" johnny smiled softly
"i loved it, i loved it!" baekhyun shrugged feelings happy about how it ended
"but this is it, my heart just got ripped out!!" chaewon acted like she pulled out her heart

"there's one more thing" i voiced once sam calmed down, we were sat on the couch as i pulled out my letters from my pocket. "i wrote 5 letters for you to read whenever you feel sad, angry, happy, or just miss me" i laughed as she had the biggest smile grabbing the letters out of my hand
each letter had her name on it with the emotion under it, "thank you, mark. this is the sweetest thing anyone has ever done for me." she smiled laying her head on my shoulder. we sat like that for what felt like forever until the staff told us we had to close up now. "noo~ i don't want to!!" sam whined
i got up because i didn't feel like getting yelled at right now, as we both stood in front of the cameras an envelope was displayed in front of us, i grabbed it as i opened it and read, "your last episode was finally filmed, how do you feel? sad? i bet! now that it's over why don't you give the cameras a last farewell. thank you, lee couple! it was a pleasure to see you blossom during the time we shared together!!" i read the last word looking towards sam who looked terribly sad, i grabbed her hand in a comforting way as we both looked to the camera
"it was really a pleasure to get to know mark and see all the beautiful things he's done, i hope to see more from mark in the future because i know he can do the most amazing things." she took a breath nodding, "thank you to the people at home for watching us every week, we really had the best time." she stopped signalling me to continue for her.
"like sam said; we really did have the best time. im saddened we have to end so soon, im sure we would've loved to extend our stay, but like all the good things, it must end. thank you for supporting us and we hope you support us separately from now on." i bowed, as i got up i grabbed sam's hands making us face each other, "sam, i know from the bottom of my heart you'll do great things and ill be on the sidelines cheering you on every step of the way because i love you." i said truthfully as i pulled her into a hug. "i love you so much." i whispered into her ear as she hugged me tighter.
the pd called cut as we still stood hugging each other for a few more seconds before our managers came, "they are going to interview you both right away and then we can leave." sam's manager said as we nodded, we both got pulled into different screening rooms. we were now a part forever.
