ELLE'S POV:

Half-asleep, I tried to climb myself off my recliner spot while my blanket held on to me. Since I've slept in so little hours, my balance wasn't functioning properly & I literally had to hold onto nearby walls just to stay up.

Yep, a regular morning for me. & for me, they suck.

Dragging myself, I was only my way to the laundry room, wondering if Preston's in there.
He wasn't.
All I saw was the usual things, the washer & dryer, some artsy things in bins or containers, bins of legos...

Wait a minute. I haven't seen that journal on the table before. Huh. He must've left it.
Should I...
Check it out?

I decided to check out this so-called interesting journal, see what it's really about. As soon as when I was about to open it, a triangle-like shadow was above me. Looking above myself...
It was Bill!

Me: Bill? How'd U get here?

Bill Cipher: Don't worry, kid, I'm still stuck in your mind, so you're the only 1 that can see me.

Me: Oh, great.👍🏻

Preston might've went to the coder lair, anyway.

Me: Can I...look into this journal?

Bill Cipher: Oh heck yeah, you can! It's filled with cool stuff, weird oddities & mysteries of Gravity Falls.

When Bill listed the stuff within the journal, he did little magical hand gestures.

Me: Oooooh! I LOVE that stuff! I should watch more of the show too.

At that moment, I started reading the 1st page, it was a little note in cursive.

Thank goodness I can read cursive.

It started of like this:

June 18,

It's been hard to believe it's been six years since I began researching the strange and wondrous secrets of Gravity Falls, Oregon.

In all my travels, never have I observed so many curious things! Gravity Falls is indeed a geographical oddity.

After that page, I was hooked in a snap. Skimming through the pages starting slow then fast like a person on runner's high. There were pages of crazy things like lawn gnomes, the undead, & different dimensions I've never even heard of.

Bill Cipher: Yes! Yes! YES!

That eager dorito seemed to be chanting excitedly like a fan at a championship. Suddenly, I stopped at a page with big letters that say:

Trust no one!

What the heck? Although it kinda does make sense because of the universe toda-

Bill Cipher: Oh, that message, it does state a very important rule. Be careful who you trust, Blue Water Orb. Who knows who might be a traitor to you.

His words were deep & sincere.

Me: Oh...ok....thanks for the warning, Bill. Oh well, is there anything like over my level of creepy in this  journal?

Bill Cipher: Well....if there's anything too spooky for ya, you obviously know what to do.

Thanks for the warning, Bill.
Or wait a minute...is he...hiding something? Like Mr S did when I was younger? Hmm. I don't know.
