at lunch, you sat at the table next to your crush, carlos.
he sat there with his bestfriend alex, and more of his friends.
"hey!" your bestfriend alyssa said. you smiled at her and she sat down.
"oooo, look, it's carlos!"
alyssa nudged you a bit and you started blushing.
"shut up! he's right there!" you said. he looked over at you two and winked.
that filled your stomach with butterflies and you started smiling and blushing like crazy.
"did he just wink at you?!" alyssa whisper-shouted.
you nodded quickly and sat their in shock.
minutes later, the school bell rang and you and alyssa got up and threw your leftovers away.
"ima dip to spanish, see ya!" she said as she ran down the hall.
you walked down the hall by yourself until you heard a familiar voice behind you.
"hey!" carlos said.
you stopped in your tracks and assumed he was talking to someone else, but there was no one around.
"hey, y/n!"
you turned around and stood there awkwardly.
"you're y/n, right?"
"uh, y-yeah."
"there's a party at Chris's tonight you should come! i'll text you the address but i need your number first."
"uh-yeah, okay."
you pulled out your phone fron your pocket and gave it to him.
he put himself as "carlos 🤤" and you giggled silently.
"see you there," he said as he left. you just stood there shocked. your crush had invited you to a party!

you guys walked in and everyone was partying. there was beers can littered all over the floor, people close to each other. a little too close.
carlos was dancing with some random girl, then looked at you and smiled.
"hey, you look pretty," he said.
"thank you," i said.
"wanna dance ?" he asked.
"s-sure," i said.
he entwined his hand in yours and took you to the dance floor.
you guys danced for a bit, then he whispered in your ear, "let's go somewhere else."
he took you upstairs to a balcony.
"i just wanted to say i've always liked you but i never knew how to say it. i hope you like me too..."
your crush just admitted he likes you.
you couldn't breathe. carlos likes you!
"i've always liked you too..."
"really?!"
"of course!"
he put his hands around your waist and kissed you. you kissed back and it became a mini makeout session.
"let's go back," carlos said.
you guys then went downstairs holding hands and you and alyssa made eye contact. she pointed at your hands and you mouthed "i'll tell you later."
