It was just a few weeks away from Easter and the bets were made.
Girls versus boys with Dawn residing over the games. The first, Theo against Darcy, the challenge?

Theo shook his head, "This is the weirdest challenge ever, I mean what's the point?"

Dawn grinned, "Exactly, Theodore, exactly."

"You'll pay for that, Winston." He threatened.

"And start!"

Dawn looked at her watch while Darcy, Alastriona and Blaise watched Theo.

He quietly walked up to a fifth year student from Slytherin and the two started whispering before they both became animated with excitement. Theo led the boy over to the tree and started running around it.

"No, nope, he's not going to join in." Darcy was convinced. It look three laps of Theo jogging around the tree in the middle of the courtyard before the fifth year started hesitantly joining in, "Ah! What?" Darcy threw her hands in the air and cursed.

"Haha! Yes!" Theo stopped jogging, "You will never doubt me again!" The fifth year stopped running in circles and stood eyeing off Theo, from where the others were sitting they couldn't hear what they were saying to each other but he did not look happy as Theo walked away, "Bloody idiot thought I was telling the truth."

"What did you tell him?" Alastriona couldn't help it, she needed to know what would ever tempt anyone into running in circles around a tree, especially with Theo.

He shrugged, "Told him I knew where the Heir of Slytherin's secret hide out was and that we needed two people to run around the tree to unlock it."

Everyone laughed and agreed the fifth year student was a total twit which luckily worked in Theo's favour, "All right," Dawn looked at her watch, "you got it in three minutes and 35 seconds, that's your time to beat, Darcy."

Darcy nodded, looking incredibly serious, she jolted suddenly and swiped near her hair making the short dark locks fly, she turned and winked at Dawn, "Start the clock." Darcy took off in a run and started screaming, flaying her arms around her hair as she made a beeline for the tree and began running around it, several people came over to the courtyard and watched as Darcy screamed, "Get it off me! Ah!"

Alastriona, Blaise, Dawn and Theo stood gobsmacked and jaws slack as they watched, even more so as not only Fred and George came out to investigate, but Lee Jordan too. He rushed over and started chasing Darcy around the tree, Theo groaned, Darcy had undoubtedly beaten his time.

Darcy finally stopped running and hugged Lee as she led him over to the others, "Thanks for saving me from the imaginary bees chasing me."

He grinned, "Can only save you from imaginary foes so don't get too excited." He looked to the others, "So can I know what's happening or is it better if I turn around?"

Darcy shrugged, "Just a friendly bet that me and Alastriona are currently winning." She eyed Theo and Blaise, "Might be safer if you actually do turn around now that I think about it... I don't trust the way Theo's looking at you."

Lee chuckled, "Agreed, although Theo I should let you know I'm actually interested in Darcy, not you." He winked at Theo and left, going back to the twins and updating them on the... interesting situation at hand.

"I'm not interested in you either!" Theo called after him, cheeks red, Alastriona couldn't tell if he was mad or blushing. "What's the next challenge?"

Dawn led the group down to the lake, now unfrozen as they came closer to summer but everyone knew the water would be freezing cold regardless. A few others had decided to tag along, nothing else to do on a peaceful Sunday afternoon, the twins came along and Lee kept close to Darcy.
