Have you every heard of facing your fears? I'll bet that seem frightening to you. But it can be a big relief. Facing a fear and making the Fear become something silly or even interesting, can change your life.

Here's how you do it:
1) Close your eyes and imagine that each of your fears has a shape and a personality. It wouldn't be the shape of a spider, if spiders are your fear, but it would represent the part of you that is afraid.

2) Now invite in all of your fears with each individual shape and personality and throw them a party to get to know each other. Go around and meet each one and ask them to meet each other.

3) You may have parts that would be stronger if they worked together for a good outcome for you instead of fear. Negotiate a deal with them.

4) Compliment these fears because they are very strong and powerful. Feel them work for good now, instead of fear!

Hey, I get it. You're afraid. That's why it's called a fear! No, let's not make light of it. But taking your fears and changing how they look and act within a party atmosphere can really change how you feel about them. I know it sounds silly but it really can work. Think of Harry Potter changing a fear to a silly clown. It's re-framing a fear in a new way and it can change the way you feel about it.
