7. Forlorn

I couldn't hear

All that shout,

Shouldn't question

To invoke that doubt.

But I needed that fall

To learn how to rise,

And see a slip so small

Made a life summerized.

I stayed away and

Thought things big,

Blind to see me

Walking on a broken twig.

Now that I lay

In broken shards of glass,

Such a dark hurtful place

A long lost compass.

Why no more light,

Why won't come dawn?

The everlasting dusk

And a feeling so forlorn.

So I wrote this after the JSC exam, it felt bad before and it still does, looks like I'm trapped in a vicious circle of repetition. Anyway, bye!
