29. Dead eyes

Dead eyes,
They've never seen a thing
How could they see?

Stranded spirit,
They haven't been to a single place
How could they be?

Empty head,
Not a thing goes in them
How could they think up of a gem?

Sulking mind,
They've always regretted things
Most of them, they haven't done.

Weary ears,
Tired of these repeated songs
Of horns, ruckus and sirens, they never learn.

Struggling heart,
But it's the conscience that rips it apart
Head and heart, tongue-tied like a dart.
