35. Us

70 16 22

Voices left in the throat
Drink more and you'll bloat,
But the dryness doesn't die
What made us so shy?

Looking that way
Through the glass,
Itching to be close
Yet letting time pass.

Hesitant features
But we're all our own Vikings
With our own dragons to slay
(Or to train, as per our liking).

You're a mountain peak
A bird's eye view,
Got a mean steak
Not naive as a dew.

I'm a lonely castle
In a time wrestle,
Built of sand
In a faraway land.

Hello, I guess irregular updates it is. I've gotten too used to it.
