The boys had no idea what to do with the new information they've received from Egin. They figured that, just for now, they should lie low in their home. None of their family or friends are to know that they're back, all lines of contact with any family member had been cut, just until they all figured out what to do.

The dreams, they seemed to be slowing down. Since the fire and the death of Carmine, there had been no nights of Neela screaming herself, and the rest of the house, awake. However, there had been something lingering in the mind of Damien that only he seemed to catch, something that Egin said the day of his visit.

"...that banshee right there is what destroyed the hospital.."

He wondered how such a small, and a powerless girl could cause so much destruction to a great building. Neela never fought back, she didn't have the willpower to physically hurt others, she couldn't even kill an insect. There was no way Neela could have absolutely leveled down a hospital to the ground, especially if she knew there were others in there.

Damien went to Egin's kingdom. He left right after Neela and Caleb were off to school, while his other boys rested. Egin was probably resting as well, but he didn't care, Damien needed answers.

Egin opened the door, his cloak on, but pajamas were wore under it. He felt as if he always needed the cloak to show his authority. "What is it? It's very late, you should not be here until the resting period is over," he did not seem fatigued whatsoever, though his voice was still hoarse.

Damien was out with the question immediately, "what did you mean when you said that my daughter was the one who destroyed the hospital?" Damien could see Egin visibly sigh, "this couldn't have waited until morning, could it? Maybe even a phone call," he moved aside and made a motion with his hand, telling Damien to enter, "you could have even written a letter, I would have visited you myself," he ranted as he led the way up to his office.

"My children are resting, we must be quiet." Damien knew of Egin's children, he wasn't sure how old they were, nor how many there were. Damien and Egin had bad blood, since Damien was damned, and never had the chance to meet his old friends children.

"What happened?" Damien asked the second the door was shut, "how was she able to do it? I-she's not like us, it's impossible for her to do such a thing. So many people had died, I-" he was just so baffled, he didn't know how ask the many questions he had. So, he waved his hands with his lips tightly pursed, "tell me what happened. The whole vision, tell it to me."

Egin sat down after pouring himself and Damien very tall glasses of blood. "I knew from the day I brought the human back to you, I was the one to kill that doctor. The way he spoke so lowly about her, the way she was limp in my arms, were both unacceptable. I knew that he was the one who drugged her because his name was basically plastered all over the room in which she stayed. I gave the 'good doctor' just a taste of the damage he had done to Neela. I threw countless needles into his body while listing off the dangers of not only morphine, but the other medicines she was filled to the brim with.

Once I felt that Neela was there, I told her to take her anger out on the doctor. I told her that she was angry, she just did not want to let that anger rise in fear she would be in trouble. Then began her screaming, which I only heard, the hospital started shaking. A fire then started and I knew that it was her, her frustration, her anger, she let it all go. I was in her head and then I started listing the dangers of the medicines to her, that's when the explosions began."

It was all shocking and hard for Damien to comprehend the words that casually spewed from Egin's lips. "I've killed before but I never killed for another person, not even my mate. Killing for someone, especially a helpless human ignited something in me toward her. I want to help Neela, she's like my own daughter that I , nor my mate, was never able to have." Egin nodded, positive in his words, "I now know why you and Ryan love Neela so much. Despite her fear, I could feel that she was grateful for me helping her."

Damien nodded with a smile. "It's a great feeling. Having someone you want to always help, and being able to be the help in their life is a euphoric feeling." Egin nodded in agreement. He had always wished for a daughter, his mate did as well, but they were never gifted with one, they tried 6 times, only boys.

"I just hope one of my boys has a girl, so I can feel like I have a daughter."

Damien thought for a while, he just looked Egin with wonder in his eyes. "You really want a girl, don't you?" Egin nodded while taking a drink. "Egin, despite all the bad that has happened between you and I. Water under the bridge," Damien waved a simple hand, "you're much younger than myself. I know that my book of life is running out of pages, so I have a gift for you, when that time comes."

"When I die, I want you to take over my fathering position to all of my children, even my boys. This includes Neela."

Egin looked on in confusion and with his arms crossed. "Does this mean I'm their godfather? I know that there's a catch."

"Nope. No catches. You and I have both had similar hardships in life: being damned, the brutal deaths of our mates. You set my son free from being damned and you told my family who turned him in. Doing this for you was the least I could do."
