Michael

God, what did I do to deserve this torture? Oh yeah, maybe it's when I fucked Ola in the back of my car last night, causing me to cheat on Aaliyah. This is definitely karma coming back to bite my horny ass, I know it is.

I watch my sisters swarm Aaliyah like ants and Janet goes in for the embarrassing kill. She flips her hair over her shoulder.

"Well I guess I'll be the one to say it, is she your new fuck buddy, Michael?"

"Janet!" Rebbie groans and I face palm, then look up as Aaliyah looks up at me for help. I almost shrug and bolt for my room, leaving he to deal with them alone, but then I'm reminded of yesterday and how I handled the situation where I was put in action and forced to go by my word...

Labeling her as my girlfriend.

I let out a deep breath. "No Janet... she's my girlfriend..." I say, almost reluctantly.

Damn, if I can hear it in my voice, then so can they.

Latoya looks at me with narrowed eyes and she nods towards the back room. "Michael, can I have a word with you?" She speaks softly and I cringe, knowing underneath her soft exterior is a bitch fit about to come out and tear me to shreds.

I nod and let her lead the way, then glance over my shoulder to see Aaliyah watching Rebbie and Janet argue. I'm caught off guard when I bump right into Latoya, then frown as she's raising a brow.

"Tell me right now, Michael. Who is she? You don't do girlfriends, you never did. How bad are you trying to sleep with her?" She asked nonchalantly and I sigh.

"She's this girl I've known for a while, we made this stupid bet. First one to manipulate the other by love or seduction, wins, and gets to humiliate them at the summer fair." I explain for what feels the hundredth time. She looks at me in disgust.

"What the hell is wrong with you? Why are you so afraid to love someone-"

"I'm not!" I defend myself, but she placed her hands on her hips.

"No, you are. You've got some real issues, Michael." She sounds disappointed and I hate the fact that I'm actually wounded by her words. I look past her head and sigh.

"I just don't want to be tied down right now. I'm sure I'll find that one, but right now, is not the time." I said, giving her my 'I'm serious, get off my back' look. She puts her hands up in defense.

"Anyways. How old is she? She looks very young."

"18." I breathe out and watch Latoya shake her head in disappointment.

"You're going to break the poor girl's heart." She then walks off, back towards the living room.

When I reluctantly follow, Rebbie and Janet are in deep conversation with Aaliyah, looking to be getting along very well. Her brown eyes are light up as she animatedly talks about something that's got two of my sisters in deep interest. I frown as they all giggle in sync, touching each other friendly on the arm and leg and it annoys me.

No one is supposed to get close to my family, but me and people I really care about.

Aaliyah is just a game piece, and she's not playing the rules right.

I scowl as Rebbie grabs Aaliyah's hand and smiled at me. "Wow, Michael. First girlfriend we meet and I actually like her-"

"Yeah, me too. Although I'm still positive something's wrong with her to be with someone like you!" Janet giggles and I lift my eyes to the ceiling.
