Behind me, Yao and Ludwig came in, and the box was dropped on the ground.
"Aiyah! Where is everyone?! They were supposed to wait here! Immature countries!" Yao exclaimed. "But you're not immature, (Name)~"
"Yeah, SO ANYWAY," I went on, "Now we have to find them!" I looked around, trying to see if there were any clues as to where they could have gone.
A jingle made me turn towards Germany, who held up his car keys. "I don't think we should drive...it doesn't take that long to get here, so they should still be around this area. I doubt they left town. We should go on foot; finding animalistic people shouldn't be that hard."
We spent 10 more minutes looking for clues and devising a plan for if we were to encounter any of them. We decided to lock them in one of the rooms of the World Meeting Building until we were able to find or make a cure.
And on that note, we went out to find the others.

It's not often that you see a giant Russian butterfly flying above Hallmart. But, then again, it's not every day that you see a giant Russian butterfly.
After 17 minutes of walking around aimlessly, we saw her (well, Ludwig saw her) flying into a bar. By the time we got there, she was attracting quite a bit of attention...and not with the little girls, if you know what I mean.
One guy sitting next to her asked if we were part of some circus, but when Ludwig sent him a glare, he quit with the questions. His glare also made the guy leave. Russia pouted.
"I was getting free shots from them; why did you have to be sending them away?" Her adorable high-pitched voice was uncharacteristically quiet over the loud herd of men in the bar, blowing kisses and winks at her.
"Because we need you back at the WMC! You can't stay this way forever!" I shouted exasperatedly, flinging my arms up.
"Well why not? I can fly, I look pretty, people buy me drinks, and I can have anyone I want!"
The 3 of us collectively sweatdropped. I didn't know what to say, but China spoke up for me.
"Just think about it, OK? You are the great Russia, aru! You are big, and fierce, and strong, and...and cold! What will your leader say when he sees you? This isn't scary and dominating and powerful, aru! No one will take you seriously! Other countries would step all over you! They think that because you are a cute and fluffy butterfly that you can't harm people, aru! Are you going to let them say that the big, scary Russia has gone soft? You need to do the right thing and come with us!"
Russia's eyes were wide, and so were Germany's. For someone who doesn't really like Russia, Yao certainly came through to him-er, her; I could tell he was taking all of this in. But what would her response be?
After a bit of time, she nodded her head.
"Ok! I will be going with you! I like being myself more, where no one will notice dark secret because of my sweet face!"
We (warily) walked out of the bar with the Russian butterfly above our heads, going on about Mother Russia and giving us thanks, which we vehemently refused, as none of us wanted to become one with him. Locking him in the back room, we were just walking out of the building when we saw the most hilarious sight I had ever seen in my life.
England was flying with his large elephant ears in our direction, and waving quite enthusiastically. Trying to take this image in made me bust out laughing, clutching at my stomach. Germany sobered me up by poking me in the ribs softly. I wiped small tears from my eyes as I looked at the handsome German Neko. "What? It's not like he's gonna hear me!"
He gave me an unamused expression.
"Alright." It looks like Arthur was trying to say something. I gave him my full attention.
"I saw a flash of pink in the sky and decided to follow it. Is Russia here, (Name)?" He asked, a bit too loud.
Ignoring China's Aiyaa!, I sent England a text, saying that 'his beloved butterfly is inside, safe and sound', and would he like to come in?' He eagerly followed us back in the building, singing a love song quite a bit off-key. While walking there, I sent Germany a quick text, asking him to lock Yao in, too. Let's just say I've had enough romance for one day already...unless it was going to be from Ludwig~. But there's no way I would tell him that.
He seemed pleased with that, as he responded with a Ja, as indiscreetly as possible.
We reached the back room where Russia was being kept, and opened the door wide.
The next thing I knew, there was an almost deafening shout of "RUSSIA!", accompanied by a lot of frantic flying. Ludwig quickly pushed Yao in and tried to shut the door, only to have all 3 countries push against it.
So much for indiscreet.
I immediately got next to Ludwig, on the doorknob side, pushing with all of my foxy might, but they sure put up a fight. One of them (probably Yao) kept backing up and slamming into the door, full force. One of those bumps made my hand slide from its position, and I ended up in the middle of the door with my back against it. We were slowly winning, and we both realized that at about the same time. Ludwig pushed even harder, using both of his hands and his knee against the door to keep them from escaping. With one final push, we slammed the door shut, hoping no one's fingers or animal parts (like our tails) were stuck in it. Locking the 3 chain locks on the door, I closed my eyes, listening to the heavy breathing coming from the 2 of us. When I opened my eyes...
...I saw his wide, sky-blue eyes staring back, and the position we were in.
Oh, Lordy-Loo.
I had my back against the door, and my arms were flat against it as well. Ludwig had one arm on either side of my head, and his knee was pressed between my own legs. Our faces were about a couple of inches from each other. This was...we couldn't do this. Not now, when we had more of our fellow countries to look for. I had just reached up to put my hands on his shoulders and ask that we continue when one last shove against the door pushed me forward...
...and straight onto his lips.
