Sorry for being gone so long, I took a small writing vacation because of school.
Adam had meant to call his mother, so when the voice on the other end of the line said they didn't have any kids it came as a surprise. Until he re-checked the phone number. He had dialled a 5 instead of a 7. Crap. He was about to hang up when the other voice piped up again "Are you still there...or what?
Adam coughed and put his ear back to the phone"Sorry, I probably have a wrong number...um" The voice chuckled "I get a lot of those. Do you still want to tal-"
Adam hung up.
