She was staring at the ground so she didn't notice the lights cutting through the fog.

Shouldn't work that day, foggy, could be dangerous. Didn't know who could be there. Didn't know it could've been a school girl.

She felt rumbles, looked up, frozen

The truck wasn't a dinosaur, wouldn't go away if it sensed no movement

It was too late to move now.

The truck didn't stop. Too late for the brakes.
