I stood in front of the lake with my eyes closed as I breathed in deeply. I could do this. Opening my eyes, I took out the charm bracelet that he had given me and stared at it while my mind wandered. Did I honestly want to let it all go? All the memories and the good times? My lips twitched into a frown as I thought about keeping it. Shaking my head slightly, I curled my fingers around the charms. I had to move on, he had already moved on and I couldn't keep holding onto nothing. It wasn't healthy.
I sighed heavily before lifting my arm into the air as I prepared to get rid of it. Slinging my arm forward as fast as it could, I let the charm go. I watched as the bracelet flew through the air before falling into the middle of the lake. It sunk immediately.
