Chapter six

Elsas P.O.V

        "battle of the bands huh?" merida said as punzie passed the flyer around our lunch table. "yea i think it would be fun!" punzie exclaimed."me too" hiccup and merida said. "i dont know.." "i think it could be fun.." jack said. I let out a big sigh "hey lets make a deal, if you join the band and write a song. ill sing it." he said and gave me a big smile. "you sing?!?!" punzie said confused. "maybe, even though i sound like a dying cat" we all laughed until someone snached the paper out of my hand. I turned around to the one and only Aster E. Bunnymund. I rolled my eyes and turned back around. "you guys are going to compete in battle of the bands?" Bunny scoffed. "yeah and?' merida said with a glare. "ill tell you what, whoever wins the competiotion will be declared the best band in town. but whoever loses has to jump in the lake naked!" "Deal!" jack said and shook hands with aster. Then he walked away " what the hell was that!" punzie yelled at jack. "just trust me" He said. This is going to be the longest 2 weeks of my life.

We were all headed to jacks house to rehearse. once we got there we went down to his basement. the room was filled with musical instruments. "woah, how did this get here?" punzie asked wide eyed. " I have my ways." jack said "So I have one song that we could practice but, it has 2 singers writen for it." I said. "so?" Hiccup asked. " the octave is to low for merida, punzie, or me to sing" Everyone turned there heads to hiccup "Ugh! fine" he said. Hiccup took dibs on drums, I took piano, Merida took base, Jack and punzie took guitar.

"Endlessly"

Hiccup:

There's a shop down the street,

where they sell plastic rings,

for a quarter a piece, I swear it.

Yeah, I know that it's cheap,

not like gold in your dreams,

but I hope that you'll still wear it.

Jack:

Yeah, the ink may stain my skin,

and my jeans may all be ripped.

that this will be easy.

"woah, were pretty good" Merida said "yeah" I agreed. "What should we call our selves?" hiccup asked  " I don't know what do we all have in common?' i said "How about high tops?'" jack said. We all looked at him. "What kind of name is that?" "Nevermind" he said looking down. "wait, duh, what about the big five." I said. "I like that" Punzie said.

So for the next two weeks the gang practised in jacks basement and wrote a new song (mostly elsa and jack) and they were ready for Battle of the bands!
