Y/n's pov. 

I grab my phone and tap on the camera, I took a picture of me doing a peace sign and saved it on my gallery.

I went to my messenger and see Garroth texted me. He said he's coming to visit me with Katelyn.

I literally ship them, (i do irl)

They'll be here in a few minutes and i'll be here in silent as I turn around watching my brother in a coma and hoping he'll wake up. I sighed and just stare at him for a few minutes until Garroth and Katelyn arrived, Katelyn was carrying a bag.

" you can't just stare at him like that until the next day " Garroth said.

" and you can't just barge in without a knock " I said, not getting my eyes off Nathan.

" how's your thigh? " Katelyn asked.

" it's better when the painkiller kicks in " I said.

" ankle? " Garroth asked.

" pretty much the same " I said.

Garroth sits down on the chair next to me and Katelyn sits down on the bedside next to Nathan.

" he'll wake up soon " she said and look down at him.

" I already cry a lot yesterday and I look like shit so don't make me cry again " I said.

" I told you I tried " she said and look up at Garroth.

" you didn't even specifically go further than that " Garroth said.

" okay what are you two up to and what's with the bag? " I asked as I sit up looking at them both and squinted my eyes.

" Katelyn lost a bet to Leo and the dare was to be nice to you and stay in the hospital for 24 hours with you " Garroth said.

" Garroth! " Katelyn whines, I burst out laughing and flop back to the bed.

" fuck you " she curses and cross her arms.

" whatever " he said, I calm down and sit back up as a nurse enters.

" I'm sorry for interrupting but, I'm just checking on the IV " she said.

" it's okay " I said.

She walked to the drip stand and she checked on the water. She grab the clipboard on the desk and write something down.

" I will be back tomorrow to get another bag of water with your pills and some more painkillers " she said, I nodded and she exits after placing the clipboard on the table.

" I'm leaving early " Garroth said.

" where are you going? " I asked.

" Victor said he's putting me in charge to keep an eye on Anson " he said.

" okay bye " I said.

He left.

~ Time Skip ~

" I can't fucking sleep " Katelyn said, I ignore her and kept my eye on Nathan.

The lights are off but I can still see him, Katelyn's on the chair with a blanket.

" Y/n, staring isn't going to help " she said, I sighed and grab my phone to see the time and it's 10:48 pm.

I place my phone down on the table and turn with my back flat and close my eyes as I put my arms in a comfortable position.

" why did you even drink coffee just now? " I asked.

" hey, coffee are the best " she said.

" they're so bitter " I said.

" it's because you didn't add sugar last time " she said.

" it's because you didn't add sugar last time " I imitate.

" I don't talk like that, plus you drank coffee last time  " she said.

" just sleep " I said.

" this hospital is 24/7 right? " she asked, I open my eyes.

" yeah " I said.

" i'm buying some snacks " she gets up.

" buy me some two " I said and she puts on her jacket.

She exits closing the door and walk away, as I just lie here. I turn back to my brother and just watch him, breathing through the oxygen mask. The sound of the heart meter beeping that is attached to him. The scars on his neck was visible that it was done by my father. I ever wonder if there was that one time, that he remembers what happened before he was overdosed.

Does he remember me?

I felt a shock pain on my ankle and I sit up, I grab the painkillers and took out one. I swallowed it and drink it with the water bottle and place it on the table. The pain subside and I adjust the bed so i can just lie down sitting up.

I sigh and Katelyn came back shortly with two bags of chips, and it looks like she was running, she toss me one and I caught. She sit back on the chair and pull the blanket, covering her. I open my bag of chips and started eating it.

" why were you running? "

" oh shut up it was dark and you would do the same too anyways " she stuff the chips in her mouth, I inwardly laugh.

~ Time Skip ~

I woke up to the sun shining in my eyes. I blink my eyes a few times and see that it's morning, I stretch my arms and see Katelyn asleep on the chair with her blanket covering her body.

The door then open and I see the nurse from yesterday enter with one of those trolley table where you can push around. I see some medication she said she'll bring for today and my breakfast.

" one of the doctor inform me that you'll be discharge this afternoon at 4:30 pm " she said and I nodded as she place it on the small table and push it to my bed.

Katelyn woke up.

" your up early " she said and stretch her arms, I roll my eyes away.

The nurse change the bag of water into a new one and left.

" i'm going to be discharge later at 4:30 pm " I said

" well, can I have some of that please? " she stares at my breakfast, which is two hard boiled eggs, omelet and a cup of tea.

" half of it only " I said.

" Thank you " he said and grab the fork.

Not even long enough she ended up finishing the omelet without giving me a bite and I ended up only eating the eggs and drinking the tea.

You know that type of people who said they wanted a little but ended up eating all, me.

And sorry for the short chappie.
