Beginning to end (donah)

9 year old Jonah marais never thought he would be sitting in his room alone crying... 9 year old Jonah marais never thought he'd spend his birthday in the park alone... 9 year old Jonah marais mever thought his mother would leave him with a alcoholic drug addict who beat him.... 9 year Jonah Marias never thought alot ot the things he went through he would ever have to deal with... but 9 year old Jonah Marias he couldn't stay in that house that night... He was sitting in his room holding his knees as his parents screams at each other... He heard loud noises and pushing and shoving... He peeked out his door just as his mom came out of her room with a bag packed with stuff... "IM DONE PUTTING UP WITH YOUR CRAP" she yelled before heading for the door... His dad turned and walked the other way throwing his fist on the counter... Jonah ran out of his room and outside following his mom who was getting in her car.. "Mom wait" he said softly... "Jonah" she said surprised... "Where are you going" Jonah asked tears forming in his eyes us they threatened to come out... "Jonah I cant stay here... I have to go..." She said getting out of the car and grabbing his hands... "But I promise once I get settled I'll come back for you... I promise" She said... Jonah believed her that night... She got in the car and drove off leaving Jonah on the side walk tears falling from his eyes... He walked in the house and grabbed his shoes... "WHAT ARE YOU DOING" His dad yells... "Going for a walk" jonah whispered... "Be back before 8" his dad murmured before walking off... Jonah walked straight to the park and sat under a big Oak tree in the middle of the bug feild...  He held his knees tight to his chest and layed his head on his knees... He sat there for awhile just thinking... thinking and crying.... "Are you ok" a little voice whispers... Jonah looks up to see a boy around his age... maybe younger standing right in front of him... He was wearing a blue shirt and Jean's and black sneakers... He looked into Jonahs eyes concered...  "I'm Daniel" He said... "Jonah" Jonah said wiping a tear from his cheek... Daniel sat next to Jonah aganist the tree... "Are you new around here" Jonah asked and Daniel nodded.. "Yah we moved here this week" Daniel said... "How long have you lived here" He asked... "My whole life" Jonah said... they sat in silence for a few minutes before Daniel asked... "So why are you upset Jonah" Jonah took a deep breath... "My mom left.." He says and Daniel doesn't say a word... instead that 8 year old boy just sets his hand on Jonahs should and sits there with him.. The two boys sit like that for awhile... Jonah glances down at his watch "8:28" He jumped up fast... His heart was pounding.. "I have to go... But meet me back here tomorrow around the same time ok?" jonah said and Daniel nodded.. and then Jonah went running down the sidewalk and to his little trailer... He slowly slid in to be relieved when he saw his dad passed out on the couch... He went into his room and layed on his bed staring at the ceiling... From that day on Jonah went back to that same tree in the park... and everyday Daniel did the same... There were secrets they hid from each other... But they knew they had eachother... Jonahs 15 now and Daniel's 14 ... and still everyday they meet up at the tree.. Jonah goes over to Daniel's all the time and eats dinner with his family or stays the night... They were bestfriends and no one could tear them apart.. "Jonah" daniel whispers as that sat aganist the tree.. there tree... "Yah dani" Jonah answered sitting up straight and looking over at the blue eyed boy... "Why haven't I ever been to your house" Daniel asked looking at the sun which was setting just over the peak of the tiny little town they live in... "I dont know theres just not much to see" Jonah say lying... well kinda lying... He was right there wasn't much to see.. but he was trying to protect Daniel..  he knew if they went to his house his dad would say something or do something and he cant let him hurt Daniel... "Jonah that doesn't matter... I just want to see your house.. talk to your dad and just see the real you" Daniel says now looking at Jonah.. you see Daniel's met Jonahs dad but just briefly when he'd pick Jonah up from Daniel's or stop by the park while they were there.. Daniel doesnt know what Jonahs dad is actully like.. "Dani" Jonah whispers so lightly looking down at his hands... "Let's go" He says... Daniel jumps up and helps Jonah up and then they walk down the street.. Jonahs feels like its gonna jump right out of his chest but relieves it self when they get to the house and Jonahs dad isnt home... "I guess my dads not home from work yet but we can still go in" Jonah says and Daniel nods... "here yah go I guess" Jonah says laughing a little as Daniel looks around and walks down the hall "Is this your room" He asks as he goes into a little room on the right.. "Yep" Jonah says following Daniel and sitting next to him on the bed.. "And this is the famous Jonah marais gutair" he says giggling as he picks up the gutair and strumming it a few times... The two boys sit there and laugh as Daniel asks questions about the house and about his family... But both of them jumped when they heard the door fly open and slam... Jonah jumped up.. "Stay here Dani please" Jonah said and Daniel nodded... Jonah walked out slowly seeing his dad standing there with his fist clenched... "Who's in there" he said sounding mad.. "D..daniel" Jonah whispers being thrown to the floor and hit acrossed the face... "YOU KNOW BETTER THAN TO HAVE THAT FAG IN MY HOUSE" He screams and Jonah trys to get up but is slammed into the wall... "J...jo" A small voice whispers from the bedroom door... "Daniel go back in the room please" Jonah says and Daniel nods.. Jonah dad turns to go to the room but Jonah grabs him.. "I promise you I'll get him out please dont" Jonah pleads earning another hit but his dad turns and walks into his room "YOUR LAST CHANCE JONAH MARAIS" His dad yells.. Jonah walks into his room to seeing daniel sitting on his bed crying.. As soon as he walks in Daniel jumps up and hugs him.. "He hurt you" Daniel whispered... "All thoose bruises weren't from baseball" He whispers and Jonah shakes his head... "Why didnt you tell me I can help you" Daniel says "No Dani you cant tell anyone they'll take my dad away and then take me away... away from you" Jonah says looking into Daniel's eyes.. "But.." Daniel says.. "Daniel if theres anything in this world that would hurt me more than living in this house it's the thought of being torn away from you" Jonahs says... "Atleast come stay with me tonight" Daniel says... "I can't I have school tomorrow" Jonah says softly and Daniel hugs him again.. "But you have to go" Jonah says and Daniel nods.. the two boys walk outside and Jonah hugs Daniel one last time.. "I'll see you tlmorrow" Jonah says and Daniel nods... Jonah goes back into the house and locks himself in his room collapsing on his bed and letting his tears fall... Why do I have to live this life... he thinks to himself... and before he knows he wakes up to his phone ringing at 2:47 in the morning.m at first he let's it go but when it rings for a second time he decided to get up... Daniel.. what on earth could Daniel need at this time... "Hello" Jonah says his voice tired and soft... "Jo" Daniel says... hes crying... hes crying so hard he can barely breath.. "Dani... breath... calm down... your ok.. what's wrong" Jonah says now pacing around his room... "I..its my d...dad" Daniel says and with thst Jonahs throwing on a shirt and slipping on shoes... you see Daniel's dad is in the military and for the past 4 months hes been deployed in a different country... "Daniel.. I'm coming to your house just breath ok" Jonah says... "H..hurry.. please... I ... I really need you" Daniel says his voice breaking as he let's out another sob... Jonah can here Daniels sister in the background... "I'm on my way" Jonah says and right as he finishes his sentence the phone hangs up... Jonah quietly opens his door and slips out and out the back door... he gets to the side walk and he runs.. around the block and down the street and up a big hill and onto another sidewalk he runs untill he reaches Daniel's house.. The only light on was the living rooms.. he walks up the steps and knocks on the door... "Jonah" Daniel says when he opens the door... His face is so tired and his eyes are red.. His hands ate shaking and his knees are weak... Jonah pulls him into a big hug and Daniel melts in Jonahs grip... he crys into Jonahs shoulder... They go inside and sit on the couch... "What happened" Jonah asks.. "T..there... w..was" daniel started to say but Anna... his sister... cut him off.. "There was an explosion where our dad was... everyone got out in time but him... They rushed him to the hospital and they came and got our mom... we havent heard anything else but hes in bad shape... out aunts coming to stay with us..." Anna says and Jonah nods... "I'm so sorry" Jonah says wrapping his arms around Daniel... "Does he know you left" Daniel whispers.. There was a knock on the door and Anna went to get it... it was there aunt... "No... but it's ok.. Everything will be ok" Jonah whispers... He stayed there the whole night with them... they all fell asleep in the living room.. But the phone rang at 5:27am... "Hes gone" Daniel's aunt whispered and Daniel broke down crying again... the rest of that week Jonah stayed with Daniel... Daniel and his dad were so close after that Daniel was heartbroken... But Jonah never left Daniel's side... Sneaking out in the middle of nights to make sure Daniel was ok... staying up and talking to him on the phone... bringing him stuff... Jonah would do anything for him... and Daniel slowly started to heal... But on Daniel's 16th birthday Daniel's mom was in a car accident after drunk driving... and Daniel went back to the state of mind his was in before... He felt alone... But Jonah was there.. Jonah was always there... No matter what his dad did or said Jonah was always there for Daniel... Never letting anything happen to that boy... Daniel and Anna drifted apart and Anna left... She left 16 year old almost 17 year old at this time Daniel seavey alone... Daniel felt like everything that happened was his fault.. and Jonahs dad started to pull jonah way from daniel...  untill one night Jonah had emough...  "LISTEN JONAH... YOU STAY AWAY FROM THAT BOY.. GO FIND A GIRLFRIEND OR SOMETHING NOT THAT FAG" his dad screamed... "NO DAD.. I WONT STAY AWAY FROM HIM AND I WONT GO FIND A GIRLFRIEND BECAUSE IF YOU WOULD HAVE BEEN A GOOD DAD YOU WOULD HAVE NOTICED I DONT LIKE GIRLS... I LIKE GUYS.. IM GAY... OK... AND YOU ARENT GONNA KEEP ME FROM BEINF ME" Jonah screams not even thinking before he says it.. Jonah looked right into the eyes of his dad.. His face was red with anger but he eyes were filled with sadness..  "IF YOU THINK MY SONS GONNA BE GAY YOUR WRONG" his dad screams.. Jomah turns away and walks into his room grabbing a bad and packing it full... Only with the things he needs.. He walks put and his dad pushing him... "I have a job.. I have clothes.. I have a little bit of money.. I have the stuff I need.. but most importantly I have someone I need and love and thats what's important I'm not gonna stay here and let you scream at me and hit me.. You gave up your life and mom left.. I'm not gonna let you ruin my life when theres someone out there that needs me" jonah says preparing to be hit of pushed of something but instead nothing.. his dad just sits there and watches him leave.. Jomah gets in his car he recently bought for cheap and he heads to Daniel's aparment which he now lives in... "Jonah" daniel says looking surprised to Jonah there... "I cant stay at that house anymore Daniel i just can't" Jonah says a tear falling from his eye... "Then stay here... stay with me" Daniel says hugging the taller boy... Jonahs dad was the only one that knew he was gay.. the only one Jonah ever admitted to... And well Daniel... daniel never really thought about his sexuality... And they never talked about it together... They always had something else to talk about.. But no matter how tough things got they were always there... They never left each others side and for once they both felt safe.. untill one day Jonah didnt walk Daniel to work.. the one day he stayed at home to finish up school work... Jonah knew he shouldnt have let him go..  He knew the thought didnt feel right... But he did it anyway.. but his heart exploded into tiny pieces when he got the call from the hospital saying that his dad beat Daniel to a pulp.. That his arm was broken so was his nose... saying that he had a concussion and cuts and bruises all over... saying thst he would be sore for a long time and that he was lucky.. saying that theres still a chance he might not make it through he night.. Jonahs head was spinning as he pushed through the hospital doors.. the walls felt as they were caving in... He walked into Daniels room... He looked so scared.. He was in so much pain.. Jonah sat in the chair next to Daniel's bed and grabbed his unhurt hand.. "I'm sorry daniel...  I'm so sorry... but please hold on... don't leave me... Stay with me and I promise I'll protect you.. I'll get you out of here... I'll never let you go.. Daniel... I love you... I love you so much and I cant loose you..  you'll all I have and your so strong... you've been through so much and you can get through this... please.. please dont leave me dani.. please" Jonah blurts out his words coming out fast.. the tears making everything blurred together... his kissed Daniel's forehead and Daniel's eyes slowly opened... "Promise me that everything will get better" The small boy laying on the hospital bed whispers.. "I promise you that everything will get better... so promise you I'll always protect you" Jonah says.. "I love you" Daniel whispers... Daniel got out of the hospital and on June 14th two days before Jonahs 18th brithday Jonah asked Daniel to be his boyfriend and he said yes... And July 29th they moved to minisota to get away from everything.. They were the happiest they had ever been and no matter what happened in there lives they were always there for each other.. Jonahs mom may have left but Daniel was there to make him feel better and Daniel might have lost his family but he knew he would never loose Jonah and even without having there families around they both grew up to be successful and Jonah got in touch with his mom... He told her everything and even thought she was scared she let him in her life and she was so proud of him.. because through everything he fought for what he wanted and he followed his dreams he took his singing career and make it happened and Daniel was right by his side.. They adopted 2 kids a boy and a girl and they raised them to be thankful for what they have and to follow there dreams... and even though Alone Jonah and Daniel didn't have what they needed together they had everything they could have dreamed for and that's because they had each other and they never let that go... Because even on the worst of your days you cant nust stop trying cause somewhere out there is one person who will change your life forever and ever...

*Wow that took forever to write... I had more I wanted to write but it would have been much longer... I hope you liked it and i have lots more coming.. I also miss my cousin Meg1804 soooooooooooooooooo much and I hope I see her soon and I cant wait for the concert in August and I'm so excited to meet my bestfriend jailynn Jailynnnichole (idk what account you use now sorry)
