Step into the fear (Jachary)

6 years ago if you would have told Zach he would be standing on a stage in front of a auditorium full of middle schoolers he probabaly would have laughed in your face but today as he walks through the halls with his visitors past his heart aches... it's been 6 year since the accident and some days it feels like it happened yesterday... He walks up on stage and everyone gets quiet.. "Hey everyone, I'm Zach Herron, I'm 25 and I'm gonna get this out here cause I'm gonna talk about it today.. but I'm gay" Zach says his voice soft.. "I was asked to talk to you today about fear.. but I know what your thinking.. just another boring guy telling us to face our fears" He says as they watch him.. "But today I'm gonna tell you a story... Imagine being 19 years old... In a band with your 3 bestfriends and your significant other... You 5 were like family and did everything together.. you never left each others side" Zach says and his stomach knots.. "You struggle with major anxiety and your different from most other people.  you dont know how to function without your friends... But one day which you thought was gonna be normal turned into the worse day of your life.. You finnaly had a free day so you and your band mates decided to go to the beach.. Your boy/girl friend decided to go out into the ocean but you wouldn't... you wouldn't because you were scared.. you thought something bad was gonna happen to you so you let them go out alone... and they never came back... You felt worthless... like it was all your fault... you had lost the love of your life and you didnt know how to feel... you were angry... at your self... at the world... you were upset... you were scared.... you thought the world would blame you.... so you shut everyone out... your family.. your friends... even someone who was like a brother to you... you shut them all out... you sat in your room for days and just cried... you were hurting so bad..." He takes a break from talking and wipes a tear from his eye.. he looks up to see tears in other peoples eyes and everyone looking at him.. so focused.. "After about 2 months your bandmates decide that they can't keep putting the band on hold... so they plan a show.. they try so hard to get you to go... but your terrified... you still think it's your fault... so you say no.... they go on by them selves.. touring and doing shows.. and then one day you were rummaging through your things when you found a note... from your boy/girlfriend... from years and years ago... and on it you read "Never let fear stop you from doing what you love... step into the fear not away from it".. you feel so ashamed... this whole time you've been hiding from your fears instead of doing what they told you to do.." Zach took a deep breath as tears started to fall.... he wiped them and looked up just as everyone started claping...  the whole Auditorium filled with loud claps... "So I guess what I'm trying to tell you is you cant hide from something that scares you..  if your scared to go try out for that sports team push a little harder... if your scared to sing in front of people get out on that stage... dont hide from your fears because it might be to late before you decide to do it.. so take one big step and push yourself to face your fears.. step into the fear" Everyone clapped again.. Zach walked of stage and wiped his wet cheeks.. "That was amazing Zach" Jonah, one of his band mates said.. "we love you Zach" Corbyn said... "Jack's deffiently so proud of you and so happy your doing what you love" Daniel said.. and with that the 4 boys walked out of the school... Zach knew he'd miss Jack forever... but as long as he was singing he knew Jack was still there with him forever♡

*Hey peeps hope you like this one shot.. it's kinda random but my Chorus teacher told me to step into the fear so I made a story out of it. Also I have musical auditions tomorrow and I'm kinda nervous.. anyways ilysm*
