MAYA POV

I woke up early to do some homework, I actually like school now it was all about art

I was sitting at my computer doing work but my eyes kept going to Lucas's hat and my phone

I picked it and I was about to call him but changed my mind,

If I call him everything will change, for better or worse I don't know.

I ran my hand through my hair thinking what to do. I contemplated for a while.

I took a deep breath and picked up my phone and rang him "Hey um it's Maya"

"Hey Maya, I'm glad you called" I heard him shuffling around on the other side of the phone

"So I was wondering if you wanted to go out sometime Ranger Rick? Maybe grab coffee or something? " I said biting my lip

I felt myself tapping my finger against my phone nervously.

"No I'm okay" he shortly answered
