Your P.O.V
The next day, Varian had to leave for an overnight trip.
I knew it was the perfect time to start my plan.
He was boarding the carriage and I waved to him. He blew me a kiss.
As he rode off, I blushed a bit. I was lead back inside and I sat on my bed.
I looked over at his pillow.
Well. No turning back now.
~ Varian is home! Also, it's his P.O.V now. ~
I walked into the castle, excited to see my wife, but something seemed different.
I knew we were going for a dark look, but the curtains were ripped and there were no guards at the castle gates.
My heart raced. Are they okay? What happened?
I ran inside and you won't believe what I saw.
(You probably will though. You're smart people.)
I saw (Y/N) sitting in my throne, laughing wickedly.
"(Y/N)? What's going on?" I ask.
She looks at me. I fall back at the sight. Her hair was all over and her once normal (E/C) eyes, not glowing red.
"How do you not remember!? YOU IGNORED ME, YOUR BEST FRIEND, THE ONLY PERSON YOU COULD TURN TO, FOR 10 YEARS! AND WHEN YOU FINALLY DECIDE TO ACKNOWLEDGE ME, IT'S BECAUSE YOU NEEDED SOMETHING! MY FATHER IS DEAD BECAUSE NO ONE WOULD HELP ME AND HEAL HIM! I'm sick of being ignored." She snarled and stepped down towards me.
(Note: I'm gonna start the song part now. Your singing is just bold and Varian is Bolded and underlined. Both are Bold underlined and slanted I changed some of the lyrics whiles writing the text. Just so it will work.)
"Any moment now your highness." she scowled.
"Believe me I know I've sunk pretty low, but whatever I've done you deserve."
"(Y/N)-" I started.
"QUIET! I'm the bad guy that's fine, but it's no fault of mine and some justice, at last, will be served."
"Please listen-"
"Now It's time to step up or it's time to back down and there's only one answer for me!"
She looked at her ring, took it off and threw it across the room.
"And I'll stand up and fight cuz I know that I'm right and I'm ready, I'm ready, IM READY!"
She looked back at me.
"Ready as I'll ever be."
"(Y/N) think about what you're doing!"
She looked over and the window and walked over towards it.
"You've ignored me too long but I followed along hoping one day you'd finally see."
She looked at me. For a minute I could see her old self in her eyes. I laughed a little bit in relief, but she took it otherwise.
"You can laugh now it's fine, but the last laugh is mine when you finally listen to me!"
She walked back over to me.
"Now It's time to rise up or it's time to stand down and the answer is easy to see."
She snapped her fingers and Lady Caine walked in, sword ready.
"And I swear by her sword I will not be ignored. Are you ready, I'm Ready, IM READY!"
She snapped again and Lady Caine grabbed me by my arms.
"Ready as I'll ever be."
She grabbed her sword and pointed it at my neck. I flinched.
"I never wanted to do this, but I'll do it if it guarantees that you will hear me."
They started dragging me away.
"Someday they'll thank me."
We reached the dungeons.
"I'll save my home and family," I mumbled looking at her.
She opened the door. I saw the princess and her group.
"Now the lines in the sand and my moments at hand." she sang while throwing me into a cell.
"I'm ready."
"I'm ready."
"IM READY!"
She turned to look at the door and walked that way.
"Ready as I'll ever be." She said while slamming it.
I started to sob. Like really hard crying.
Rapunzel looked at me sympathetically.
"What happened?" she asked.
"I- I don't kn-know."
"I don't know" I whispered.

Hey. Okay so I was going to use Burn from Hamilton as the song but changed it last minute. I might make another version of this chapter with Burn insted. I don't know.
But that leads me to my next thing.
I'm putting this book on hold for I bit just so I can catch up my new Connor Murphy x Reader book because this book is at 7 chapters (12 including Author Notes) and my other book is at 2. SO I need to catch that one up. At least get it to like 5 chapters.
