Today was the last day and I smiled bitterly at myself. I don't want this to end, but that would be so selfish of me. I gathered up my courage and went down the stairs.

Your gaze shifted towards me as I descended the flight of stairs, flashing me a smile. "You woke up earlier than me. That's a first," I teased, a mischievous glint shining in my eyes.

You smiled proudly. "I'll take that as a compliment." I scoffed and plopped down on the seat beside you. "So, what are we going to do today?"

I tapped my chin with my index finger as I thought carefully about it. "Since today is the last day before you are finally free from me, I guess we should do something that we haven't done yet."

A look of distaste showed in your face as you stared at me as if you wanted to say something. I waited for you to open up, but your mouth remain sealed so I shrugged it off and continued.

"Let's go to an amusement park!" I beamed. You stared at me wide-eyed as a string of protests came out of your mouth. "Amusement park? You know I can't go there. It's too crowded and too risky."

I flashed you a confident smile which caused you to furrow your eyebrows more. "That's why I chose this place!" I voiced out, showing you a picture of the place.

"I heard that this place is not as crowded like others, especially at this time of the year, since it's a bit far. It's not a big one, but it's still filled with rides and booths, and besides, it's placed near the beach."

I eagerly informed you, showing you the pictures I have found in google. "It takes an hour or two to get there so let's start getting ready if we don't want to waste any second."

You smirked and came closer to me. "Then, we should take a bath together to save us a lot of time and trouble." My eyes widened at your suggestion and lightly punched you in the shoulder.

"You pervert!" I yelled, cheeks painted red. "You don't want to?" You asked, innocently, poking out your bottom lip, "Too bad then."

We finally arrived at our destination and as what the google said, the place was not crowded and much less deserted than the usual amusement parks.

Your eyes lit up in excitement as you scanned the place. "Like it?" I queried, a smile forming on my lips. You turned your gaze to me and smiled back. "Like? I love it."

The rest of the time, we tried all the rides and booths, taking a break in between. We did another round as the skies turned darker. As the night goes deeper, your gaze never left me as if you wanted to say something to me.

But every time I asked you, you would just shrugged it off or changed the subject. It continued until we finally decided to stop and went to the beach beside the amusement park.

We walked side to side as the ocean breeze occasionally blew past us. I felt my cheeks get warm when I realized you're still staring at me. I turned around to face you, clearing my throat.

"Ya, why do you keep staring? Do I have something on my face?" You nodded your head and leaned in, making me take a step back unconsciously.

"Yeah, your beautiful smile." You smiled genuinely, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear. My heart did weird things as I smacked your shoulder.

"Ya, your Jieun will be mad if she hear you flirt with me." I laughed, only to stop when I was met with silence. Your eyes was filled with confusion and I couldn't help but voice it out.

"Hey, what's wrong? You've been awfully quiet lately." You kept staring at me, not uttering a single word. You wrapped your arms around my waist and pulled me closer to you, eyes still fixed on mine.

"Do you want me to do something?" My eyes shot up at your sudden and odd question. I smirked and wrapped my arms around your neck.

Your cheeks grew red, making my smirk grew wider. "Will you kiss me then?" I teased, leaning in. You remained quiet and just stared at with an unreadable expression.

Seeing as you had no plan to answer me, I laughed it off and removed my hands from your neck. "I was just jo-" But before I could finish what I was saying, a pair of soft lips collided with mine.

My eyes grew wide as you started to move your mouth on mine. I immediately shut my eyes close as the kiss became hotter, your hand resting on my back, pulling me closer to you.

You broke the kiss as we gasped for air, trying to catch our breaths. Our lips were swollen and our faces were beet red. You placed your forehead on top of mine, smiling sweetly while gazing into my eyes.

You opened your mouth to say something but before you could voice it out, your phone rang. Your face scrunched up in annoyance as you hesitated whether you take it or not.

I broke free from your grip and gave you a small smile. "You should take it." You stared at me for a moment before hesitantly fishing out your phone out of your pocket.

The ringing has ceased and I watched you stare at screen of your phone, your lips forming into a thin line. "Who was that?" I queried, trying to confirm my guess.

You looked at me for a while before giving out an answer. "It's Jieun," You said barely above a whisper, but loud enough for me to hear. I nodded in understanding as I let out a small smile.

"Jeon Jungkook," I started, catching your full attention, "From this day onward, you are finally free from me. I will keep my end to the promise as you kept your end of your promise. Thank you so much, Kookie. I hope she'll bring you happiness that I didn't manage to bring to you."

As soon as those words left my mouth, I turned around and left without looking back at you as streams of tears ran down my cheeks.

"I love you, Jeon Jungkook. I always do."
