Wandering Wings

Ever since I could remember, I would wander away; it felt like my feet would be leading, and telling my mind the way.

As a toddler I would wander at Malls, Fairs, Daycare or find a way, by climbing outside my window to see the neighbor's dog and play.

At five I managed to leave the school grounds, and before I knew it I was in a quiet park with no more classroom sounds. I managed to sneak back into the school, so why even follow a human created rule?

It felt so profound, limits were for others I decided, what they call being lost, I call being found.
